Zebahar Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 When I watch the TDTD lyric video, at the first "I feel like a cello" line, the guy who is waving his arms always reminds me of Jeff Matika Quote

I think all the Dookie singles were way bigger in the US, until I got heavily into Green Day I'd only heard of Basket Case and When I Come Around. 1 Quote

She’s been playing on Houston radio since 94/95 94.5 The Buzz seems to think only She Brain Stew And Still Breathing are the only 3 GD songs around don’t get me wrong I’m glad GD Zaire being played jut annoying when it’s the same song over and over Quote
Popular Post RedundantIdiot Posted December 4, 2017 Popular Post Posted December 4, 2017 I cannot listen to ''staring out of my window, watching the cars go rolling by, my friends are gone, I've got nothing to do'', without snorting with laughter at the thought you-know-which picture 1 5 Quote

He’s full of shit. 2 Quote

Wretched & Divine Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 Billie always plays to the crowd In Melbourne he called Sydneysiders "fuckers" or something because there's a rivalry between the cities. I'm from Sydney and while I didn't appreciate it, it's not a big deal and I know he doesn't mean it 3 Quote

We were there from Pittsburgh and he was bashing us 😄 1 Quote
Marki. Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 Yeah, Billie always does that, I remember when they came here and he kept saying how we're "so much better than Germany" (obviously there were many German people as well) He likes to say a lot of shit just to make people happy 3 1 Quote

I agree that the only plausible explanation is that he wanted to please the crowd (and I see all around me how people can indeed get crazy about football, though I'll never understand that ). And Billie himself seems to have completely taken off in this video! 1 Quote

Better keep it on repeat for a few weeks to make up for it I remember the first time I heard that song, it was three years ago my daughter used it to make a birthday slideshow video for her little sister with photos of the two of them. It was the cutest thing I think it’s why the song still makes me feel all warm and fuzzy when I hear it. Only later did I think about Billie and Mike as a possible interpretation (though I don’t know the real story behind it). My interpretation of the title is like those two are like Poprocks and Coke — when they get together they explode! 💚💚 Have they ever talked about the story behind the song in any interviews? 1 Quote

Tre said this about Poprocks and Coke Quote That's like a good song to make out with your boyfriend to, or your girlfriend, whatever. Who ever you like to make out with. It's a good song to get all bubbly, tickly, naked...it's a nice song. 7 hours ago, Thatsername said: I think sometimes Billie gets a bit carried away by his own rants I don't think that he really meant to be rude, he loves all of us. And I agree with Tré, it's a ~cute~ song + it sounds quite Warning-esque which is a huge plus in my book. 3 Quote
