She’s been playing on Houston radio since 94/95 94.5 The Buzz seems to think only She Brain Stew And Still Breathing are the only 3 GD songs around 

don’t get me wrong I’m glad GD Zaire being played jut annoying when it’s the same song over and over

Billie always plays to the crowd  In Melbourne he called Sydneysiders "fuckers" or something because there's a rivalry between the cities. I'm from Sydney and while I didn't appreciate it, it's not a big deal and I know he doesn't mean it

Yeah, Billie always does that, I remember when they came here and he kept saying how we're "so much better than Germany" (obviously there were many German people as well)  He likes to say a lot of shit just to make people happy

It does sound a bit weird to me that he says it right after saying "no racism, no sexism, no homophobia", where he usually says "no fucking Dumb Trump" or "no fucking Nazis"... I agree that the only plausible explanation is that he wanted to please the crowd (and I see all around me how people can indeed get crazy about football, though I'll never understand that ). And Billie himself seems to have completely taken off in this video!

I think sometimes Billie gets a bit carried away by his own rants I don't think that he really meant to be rude, he loves all of us.

I remember the first time I heard that song, it was three years ago my daughter used it to make a birthday slideshow video for her little sister with photos of the two of them. It was the cutest thing I think it’s why the song still makes me feel all warm and fuzzy when I hear it.

Only later did I think about Billie and Mike as a possible interpretation (though I don’t know the real story behind it). My interpretation of the title is like those two are like Poprocks and Coke — when they get together they explode! 💚💚 

Have they ever talked about the story behind the song in any interviews?

Well, yes  I sing in the car mostly but when other people are present i just either lightly nod along or pretend I'm unaffected, lol

But yeah I listened to it for like an hour before work and spent all night physically incapable of not humming/singing it to myself, so I think I'm good lol. And I agree with Tré, it's a ~cute~ song + it sounds quite Warning-esque which is a huge plus in my book.

It is so cute. It’s the Green Day song I would recommend to a non-fan (I have done this and they also think it’s a cute song, lol)
