Heart Like A Hand Grenade

Honestly, the scene is so short and so dark you really can't see much.  That is why it is disappointing.:(

haha, it's not such a surprise, though. it would be kind of awkward if a naked guy was walking around for a half of the movie. :D

Well it is Mike (and Tre unfortunatley) and Mike does look good naked so it would not have been half bad.

I'd very happily pay to see it in a cinema and I'd very happily too pay to have a physical DVD, but not to stream it in my computer like I could do illegaly, it just seems stupid to me.

Btw, is there any preorder for DVD?

Both Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk have the preorder up now, not sure of other regions yet.

I liked it! My favorite part was when Billie started reciting derogatory comments he read.. overall I think it was very well put together I did want more solo voice recording or individual playing scenes but it definitely was great.

Just finished watching it and it's awesome.

No more new information but great documentary, the only thing I don't like at all it's the part when they showed all the scene backward really fast after Billie been asked about comeback record

But remember, no matter how derogatory the comments were, Billie was still hot.

Thats usually the bright side for every crappy situation.. "fuck my car broke down!.. but at least Billie is still hot" haha

Hope this helps.

That part was funny. I finally got to watch the movie on vimeo. It was great! Well worth buying. I'm gonna watch it again later. The only part I didnt like was the dancing during Jesus of Suburbia. It was unnecessary and weird.

Just watched it. Kinda disappointed. There's nothing really surprising in that documentary.

It's great to see the band in that period but we don't learn anything about the creation of the album or the songs.
I thought we supposed to have an insight view but nothing really hits me, or maybe 2-3 things when BJ said how he wants a song sounds.

And the live parts bring up nothing new neither, it's been 11 years that we listen and see these song, so it was not relevant to show how they are played live to me.
But the atmosphere is cool, the guys are funny and the music is obviously awesome so, I liked it anyway even if I was expecting something much bigger and "precious".

We though need to keep in mind that the movie was meant to be released 11 years ago(along with the album), the only disapointing part for me was the Jesus of Suburbia performance, is was the album version and nothing really interesting was shown

It was already revealed that it doesn't go that in depth into the details of the album making process when the original version was premiered a few years ago, a lot of the people who went to see it mentioned that about it. So really an in depth insight into that shouldn't be expected.

I'm actually holding off on watching it for now because I'm clinging on to a very slim chance that I'll be able to see it in a cinema. If I hear that's definitely off the cards I'll watch.

I liked it. Really brought me back. 2004/2005 was such a great time in my life and Green Day was a huge part of that.
