Punkfreak1414 Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 Is there any backing tracks or instrumentals of songs from the trilogy? I have looked on YouTube and there is either horrible quality ones or just kareoke covers. If there are none that you can find , can someone on here make some?
Jon Benjamin Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 There's about to be Oh Love and X-Kid with them being on Rocksmith but backtracks can't be posted here.
Sanity Loan Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 There already is Oh Love from Rock Band. Obviously, I cannot post that here. I'm not sure if Rocksmith tracks are in similar format.
Flyingdonutz Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 There is an Oh Love backing track and likely and X-Kid one around the corner. It'd be really kickass if Green Day would release their tracks in some special edition thing cause I can't find shit for vocal backing tracks like ever.
Jon Herroon Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 There already is Oh Love from Rock Band. Obviously, I cannot post that here. I'm not sure if Rocksmith tracks are in similar format. Why is it that they can't be posted here?
Liam Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Why is it that they can't be posted here? They're under copyright laws.
Jon Herroon Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 They're under copyright laws. Even the multitracks are? I figured they'd be different enough for it to be okay, kind of like the thread with the shit quality fake lives.

Idiotic Tendency... Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 Do the Oh Love multitracks exist? I really want to get my hands on them but cant find them anywhere. kind of like the thread with the shit quality fake lives. I had the thread closed because of this comment.
Jon Herroon Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 I had the thread closed because of this comment. Sorry...
Beezey Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 This might be irrelevant but wonder if they could release auhorised tracks etc and backing tracks for (a bit like Rock Band) people to play with or sing the lyrics to or to study the tracks to do covers etc. I bet there would be alot of people who want to accurate cover versiions or are learning and want to play some Green Day songs or sing some. Going out on a limb here since every suggestion and comment I make regarding Green day on any site or page gets bashed.

Grinch Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Would it be allowed to upload stuff like this to youtube? I'm always using software to split up MP3 files to sound as close as possible to instrumental or backing tracks and I've been successful with all FBHT and non-album tracks.
Maid Meringue Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 How is one able to isolate tracks at home? I've been trying to hone in on the drumming parts of some songs but idk how to pull it all apart.
WhiteTim Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 How is one able to isolate tracks at home? I've been trying to hone in on the drumming parts of some songs but idk how to pull it all apart. You would need the pro tools sessions for the songs
Grinch Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 I use Audacity and I'm always finding ways to try to pull apart instrument tracks from basic MP3 files. These are all still a WIP for getting the right configuration. Each song needs it's own configuration unless it's in the same album as another song (generally). They're not perfect but here's some I've done. Examples: Foxboro tracks: Other tracks: Instrumentals:
Karl Karlson Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Haha, the old thing. I did this 12 years ago - never happy with the result. And I still feel weird when people say something like "Oh mY gAwD!!1 da qalaty iz soo gOoD" haha
