ColinOr
Woah, I just discovered Green Day songs I didn't know existed. They're from 1989 and were never recorded professionally, but were performed at this radio session they did. I always thought every song they at least performed live from the early days were on EPs and albums. I was surprised to find these, I'd never heard them before: Future Old Boy Maybe Forever World Vs. World

Liam
These tracks are nothing new, they've been around for years. Every couple of months someone else discovers them and starts a new thread. I can't find a previous thread for this though so I'll leave it open until someone finds one.
DirtyRottenForgotten
I thought the one posted as Future Old Boy was called Jennifer. I have all these songs but I have it listed as Jennifer.

I remember it because it was one of the first threads I posted in on here. Can't find it for fuck though. Must have been buried in the old download forum. If I'm not mistaken, "Future Old Boy" is title that came from fake (?) demo tape.
Certified Nimrod
Must have been buried in the old download forum. I went there once when I was new here. I got so frustrated because everything was MegaUpload and therefore didn't work.

Yeah, that's an old thread, my art was shit, and the mp3s were shit too. And the title Future Old Boy is fake as it can be. It's known as Jennifer, although that may be fake too, but that's the name that's been used since this bootleg surfaced, and no one knows when that was. Jennifer was Sean Hughes's sister, whom Billie had a crush on, and wrote all of the songs on 1000 Hours about her.

Pied
My theory is: 1. Jennifer was written and maybe demoed during the recording of the 1000 Hours EP 2. World Vs. World was something Billie wrote a little before Sweet Children (I'm basing that on the video of him playing it at his high school). 3. Maybe Forever was written around the time of the 1000 Hours EP. Some of it seems loosely similar to At The Library 4. You Can't Fool Me was written again during the Sweet Children era and may have been demoed but left out as it doesn't seem to fit the style of any of the EPs or the album. Whatever the truth is, they are good songs. By favorite in order: 4. World Vs. World 3. Jennifer 2. Maybe Forever 1. You Can't Fool Me

Todd
They're not 100% correct, but these recordings aren't the best. So don't be an ass about it World vs. World I've got this feeling that's coming over me I'm feeling bad about things as you can see Got a smile and i'm trying to find Cause you know that you're my only desire I love to listen to your soft, gentle voice ???? Skin so soft and moist You talk to me and it makes me feel better I know the reason I've been so wrong about you I love to listen to your words, girl, and what you say Take my feelings ? won't you stay? Look in my eyes and tell me what you find With passion burning I know it's hard to find I'll write a letter and send it to you with love I'd like to know, what are your thoughts about us? A gentle kiss and then I wonder why You dry the tears, so many years I've cried That emotion, when I think of us ??? what we have ??? I think I've got that second to last verse spot on Maybe Forever (These lyrics weren't done by me) f i could know decisions coming from my heart I think about you girls I may have torn my dreams apart I want to show you new things and I'll try keeping time Thoughts moving ? it's hard for me to find I guess it's always been like that Maybe forever it's alright If I could know decisions coming from my heart I think about you girls I may have torn my dreams apart Keep me on the right track to the trail on top of the edge No longer feeling I know that they just don't care I guess it's always been like that Maybe forever sucked thin I guess it's always been like that Maybe forever sucked thin

Hermione
I've heard all these before and used to have them but I never had names for the first two, good to have some! And I think it's good that they get posted randomly from time to time, means more people hear about them.
Todd
Forgot to mention, I talked to Corbett Redford, the man in charge of the Early Days documentary, and mentioned these songs, he said he'd look into asking Green Day about them.
