Why do people hate Uno, Dos, or Tre?

I don't hate it. It's just not as good as the other two. Maybe because they hyped it up so much and it didn't live up to the expectation. But it's a good record.

I listened it once and never again. I don't think I hate it but I just didn't like it. All songs on Uno are just amazing and Tre has awesome songs like X-Kid & 99 revolutions too. Just not the same with Dos.

I don't necessarily hate Dos. There are a few good songs in there, my favourites being Stray Heart and Wow! That's Loud! It's just that the album didn't meet up to it's expectations, and it's not necessarily Green Day's best album.

You would be the one to say it :P

Not suprised at all.

Tsk tsk tsk.

Well it's true, to be honest. The vast majority of the songs on it are terrible cringeworthy pieces of lazy songwriting. And the one real highlight of the album, Lazy Bones, is marred by what is basically tambourine abuse.

1) Garage rock belongs in the garage

2) Lady Cobra is talentless

3) The lyrics are banal

4) Meh

Is Nightlife the only reason people hate Lady Cobra (the person)?

That's what I was going to ask....I mean she isn't that great, but meh I can deal.

I blame Billie for ever thinking that Nightlife was a good idea.

As a wise man once said: "Cocaine is a helluva drug".

I don't hate Dos, but my tolerance for it is pretty low these days. Lazy Bones and Stray Heart are great songs, and the majority of the album is pretty fun if you're in the right mood for it. But when I'm listening to the whole trilogy I generally turn Dos off after Baby Eyes and move on to Tre :P

I would blame Jason too, but that song was way too much of an exception-to-the-norm for him to be involved in. He just wouldn't have a clue what to do.

Ever heard the expressions "The dog on the street knows..."? Basically, that's how we refer to something that something is so fucking obvious, everyone knows.

I just imagined Jason rapping and pissed myself.

It's got 3 good songs on it and the rest aren't even good enough to be Tubbies b sides.

3 is generous, but an accurate summation nonetheless.

Well it would probably improve Nightlife! Although it would also fuel all the Jason/Billie 'shippers'.

Imagine how different Lady Cobra would be if it were Jason instead!? 'Well I met a guy named Jason White.'
