Heather.
Hasn't this always been in the context of a concert? I mean, the dude made an Instagram account for his DOG. He can't hate technology too much. Yeah but it's also him being conscious now that he's "got off drugs and now I'm addicted to my cell phone" and that's not necessarily a good thing. AlissaGoesRAWR
Yeah but it's also him being conscious now that he's "got off drugs and now I'm addicted to my cell phone" and that's not necessarily a good thing. I dunno, it seems kind of joking to me. He's made the jokes about drugs several times at shows ("I wasn't even on drugs!" when he messes up) so I can't take the statements too seriously, nor do I want to. Although I agree that cell phones out at concerts 24/7 is irritating in the pit and has to be irritating from a performer's standpoint too. Certified Nimrod
He often has reeled against "cell phones, computer screens," etc versus reality. I think he was talking about the things on the cell phones and computer screens, the news and stuff.
iScottie
Billie contradicts himself alot take what he says at shows at face value I like when he says, "We're going to play ALL. NIGHT. LONG." And then they only play for 2 hours...

Guest
Oh. I listened to that before, but I couldn't understand him xD I was there, and kept thinking "YOUR DOG HAS A FUCKING INSTAGRAM ACCOUNT YOU TIT". Couldn't stop rolling my eyes for the whole thing, security probably thought I was off me face on meth or something.

Guest
It's not Billie's fault his dog made an Instagram account. This whole thing would have been solved if Steve Jobs had died before inventing the iPhone. Billie was right.

Guest
what does he say?? I cannot understand the whole thing :/ He mainly talks about how negativity from media is everywhere, and because of technology we can't escape it. He then compares technology to drugs, saying he quit one to become addicted to the other, and he's not sure which is worse.

fatherotti
I like when he says, "We're going to play ALL. NIGHT. LONG." And then they only play for 2 hours... He's not in his 20's anymore, he's in his 40's, I don't think they have the energy for 4 hour shows anymore. Secondly depending on the location and the time they start playing, you also have to take noise curfews under consideration.
fatherotti
Sorry to bump, but shouldn't this date be added to the NA 2013 section of "On the Road"? Green Day is performing here after all.

Guest
That's actually a pretty cool combination. Blondie dived into the punk realm for a while, and really got experimental with their music.
