Todd
Not everyone is you though. If I remember correctly you aren't in the band. That is also a very shallow thing to say. Your not a fan of a band if you don't like their deep cuts. Why are you even on this website? What the fuck is your problem? You have to like their 'deep cuts' to be a fan? guess I'm not a Nirvana fan, or a Rancid fan, or an Offspring fan. Way to come across as a dickbag. Heather.
Green Day has always sound checked rare and weird songs. It's almost never actually a sign of what they're going to play, sadly.

Whatsinaname
Green Day has always sound checked rare and weird songs. It's almost never actually a sign of what they're going to play, sadly. This is very true. Sadly. I heard the sound check at the Chicago show and was all excited to hear a song from the Trilogy, I think it was "Missing You" if I remember correctly. Annie, get your gun
Yeah... they even have the "bright" idea of playing unknown songs sometimes... which is BAD idea if no one's around to record them Whatever the playlist is, is something unpredictable, but in the end is right. -And the people there will have the time of their lives

Hero_Of_The_Hour
I hope Mike calls out those rich motherfuckers like he did at Woodstock. Well that wouldn't exactly work now since they are rich motherfuckers themselves these days as are probably 90% of their friends...

*withoutadoubt*
anyone knows when will the show start? 9 pm Pacific time, so that's less than 3 hrs now.
kristóf
The 8% of the setlist were songs from the trilogy Usually 7 songs were from the trilogy in a show where they play 28 songs. This is the same amount of new songs as they played in the 21st Century Breakdown tour. 9 pm Pacific time, so that's less than 3 hrs now. 3 hrs?! crap. i think i'll sleep instead, it's already 3:20 AM here. anyway, thank you for the answer! Ryan
Not everyone is you though. If I remember correctly you aren't in the band. That is also a very shallow thing to say. Your not a fan of a band if you don't like their deep cuts. Why are you even on this website? Really? Youre lucky im nice or I would probably unleash on you with a profanity laced tirade. Im a huge fucking green day fan and I absolutely love their "deep cuts." That being said, im not a fucking moron that actually thinks 90% of the people in attendance wants to hear shit they've never heard before. I was referring to Pearl Jam concerts...and im not a die hard fan of theirs, so I wanted to hear the hits. Here's how concerts work...the band wants fans to be active, sing along, etc. How is that possible if they dont know what is being played? I would know every word of any song GD decided to play, bit over 90% of the crowd wouldnt. That was my point. Now carry on not understanding shit that is posted in here.
