green day is
really? Yes really. I have the 21CBD one, a Greatest Hits one, and I've seen PDF's of 1039 and Kerplunk online. Feel free to keep using them if you want, but if you notice anything that's wrong don't discredit yourself just because it's in the book. The guitar parts are accurate about the same amount of time Ultimate Guitar is (which is to say only if it's easy) and the vocal melodies to nearly all of them are wrong and they p.much butchered Restless Heart Syndrome and Viva La Gloria. Not to mention that they wrote the sheet music for RHS as if it were half a step up cause they intended guitar players to play it. Like, hello, this is for piano originally. Let them appropriate it if they want to. If artists would just take the time to sit down with the people who write the books or even to put them out on their own websites or something this wouldn't happen. It seems like companies just learn it all by ear as quickly as possible with a huge error margin and the label gives them the okay to publish without a single thought. The Disappearing Boy
I have a bundle of tabs on ultimate-guitar under http://my.ultimate-guitar.com/?mode=contributions. Quite a few of them are Guitar Pro, but some of them are text, so feel free to use as many as you want.
green day is
I think the best way to do this would be to put up whatever tabs you find on the internet for each song, whether in a thread or on GDA or whatever, and leave it up for everybody to play and find the mistakes and basically make this a community effort to get them perfect. There are plenty of musicians here who can play it with the actual song and weed out errors.
Sanity Loan
really?Really. Jack and I used the UNO book for a basis of the tabs and then edited them where it needed it. The books aren't Billie Joe or Jason White tabbing them out, it's a professional's interpretation.
green day is
Verse: Dsus2, Cadd9, G, Cadd9 Chorus: A, B, G5, E Bridge: A5, B5, A5, G5, A5, F#5 So these are the chords to World Vs. World. I can't quite make out the fingering for all of it, but I think it's something like [Root B G D] for the verse and then just strumming for the chorus. Not sure what/where the bridge is. There's a riff in between the verse and the chorus but I don't think that's what's written here. I'm sure lots of you have a better ear than me, so let me know if you figure it out. It also might differ between the two versions of the song.
