I will repeat here what I said in the Instagram thread:

I don't know how I should react to Billie catapulting himself in the crowd. That was a hell of a jump! So... Poor kids who got crushed by Billie? OR Those lucky kids got to see Billie very close and touched him?

Billie or not, if I would have been in the kids' place, seeing a guy catapulting himself in my direction, I know I would have pushed myself out of the way.

I love how half of the comments on "the dive" have "little human", "tiny man" in them.

He's more than welcome to land on me. :)

On the subject of Woodstock, I found this interview yesterday, where Billie talks about Mike getting his teeth knocked out:

I'd never heard it before and I found it really interesting. Plus, Billie's voice sounded really sexy.:wub::wub:

He sounds so awkward and not quite glad to be there. And that nervous laugh. Poor bean

I'm a little late here today so have thoughts on several topics that have been discussed.

The Halloween face paint: Billie's is much messier than the Jack Skellington before, but I totally understand as he I'm positive just wanted something on his face to not be recognized, and he was obviously very focused on his boys ❤️

Joey spraying water on people: He has taken several of his dad's stage habits on, and I think it's cute. He and Cole kiss and grab each other on stage just like Billie with his band mates. Also, Cole is really carrying on the Billie Joe stage persona. He does the chants, the call/response, the political rants, whole bit. I've never watched a SWMRS show all the way through, but I've seen enough excerpts to notice that he is trying very hard to control a crowd like Uncle Billy does.

The stage dive: I had to watch it several times for it register what I was seeing. I cannot believe the sir he got and how fearless that was. It could've gone so wrong.

You wouldn’t be able to get out of the way in time unless it was a really undersold show or the stage diver aimed right for the pit for some idiotic reason. Otherwise you’d have like one second of warning and would never be able to move away in time in a packed room. Honestly, unless it’s like a 200+ pound dude, or absolutely no one is paying attention, then it’s not that bad.

I sort of get the impression that Cole’s stolen moves are more deliberate and Joey’s are more through exposure. Like he isn’t intentionally mimicking his dad, it’s just behavior he’s seen his whole life. I feel like Cole though pays close attention to Billie. That’s just my impression though.

Regarding the dive from Billie’s POV, It’s really not as scary as you might think. As long as you don’t have to jump a large gap between stage and barricade. You’re gonna hit bodies pretty much no matter what and it’s more likely one of them will get hurt than you in my experience. Though you never know.

This would be an example where the subject could've just been discussed in the Instagram thread :P. Like if there's nothing particularly fangirly to add why not just post there where everyone's already talking about it? Please just try to think whether you actually want to fangirl about something before bringing it up here, if it's already being discussed somewhere else and you can just comment there there's no need.

I apologize, but I think it's a habit that a lot of us have because we feel most comfortable in this thread. I can't quit you 😂

I know (and I'm guilty of it too :P), but it becomes hard to follow when there's so many posts so let's try to keep it for fangirling rather than just everything.

Ikr, he's like that in most '94/'95 interviews that I've seen. I'm glad he's come out of his shell and gained more confidence over the years, but I can't deny that the shy/awkward side of him is pretty cute.:wub::wub:

I think it's a safety thing.  We don't want to say the same exact things on another thread and then be accused of fangirling and told by other members to come over here and do it here instead.  It's just easier and more comfortable to do it here since we've been doing that all along.

Yeah if you want to say something fangirly about something it's fine to bring it up here. There's just no need for general/not particularly fangirly discussion of things that are already being discussed in another thread (eg the discussion about Billie stagediving). Maybe just think "Am I fangirling or just making a general comment about this that would fit better in another thread?" before bringing up a subject here.

Cole is also "heeyyooo"-ing a lot :D When I was at my SWMRS show I always laughed when I noticed some Green Day influence. Let's be honest, they are learning from the best  Plus, Billie didn't invent many of the things he does on stage himself also, he was influenced by Freddie Mercury and others, so I think it's really nice that the SWMRS follow in their footsteps.

On another note, I stumbled accross this Instagram post, some lucky fan seems to have met Billie at the airport in Rio. I'm just wondering what happened to his hair, it looks weird  (but still hot). And the neckline of his shirt...

^^^ He looks incredible. When I first saw it, I wondered if it was a few years old. I think it’s just the hat that makes his hair look funny, but clean shaven and a little thinner he looks really young. And yes I appreciate the ink peeking through

I'm not sure if you can tell this or not because the quality is so bad, but he's wearing a hat. That might be why it looks weird. I don't think you can really see his hair all that well.

Looking at those pictures from their arrival at the Brazil airport. Damn Billie looks fine. That break did him good.

I'm late to the party but I love his smile when he was crowd surfing and I love the pictures of him arriving in Brazil :wub::wub:

He didn't crowd surf for very long though . Perhaps because of what he once said about crowd surfing in an interview: "There were fingers in places that only my wife and doctor are allowed":lol::lol:

I think the crowd was pretty pumped he was there, he didn’t want to steal too much attention from the band. 🙂

Oh yes it's a hat, I saw it in the other pictures now. With or without hat, he looks gorgeous.

Haha, also it's hard to when you stage dive because the crowd generally passes people forward and there's not really far to go. But yeah, people would be more handsy with him than they might a random person.

It really does seem like he had a lot of fun!
