And the Daddy thing just makes me cringe.

I'm in love with a man aged 57... even though he is between my two parents in age. And Billie is 45. Why would I call him Daddy for God's sake ?

Congratulations to our Billie Joe, five years clean and sober today. Seriously a major accomplishment particularly having done it the hard way like he says, not hiding away, okay with still being around it but having to turn it down every single day. I’m impressed and inspired by his strength.

He’s been awfully quiet since being in NY, where we’ve heard and seen a lot from Tre/Sara and Mike/Britt all around town. Hope he and Adrienne are having a good weekend. Not sure if he’ll post something today or not. Still, it’s a big day and he rocks my world. 💚

It's his first week he's getting to spend with Jakob since he started college because he's been on tour. I'm sure he's just focused on family time and that's why he's been quiet on socials.

Very proud of him though! Every day and every year that goes by where he's clean is huge.

Billie's always going to put his family first and that's something I love about him, he's always been such a good dad.

The daddy thing is gross.

Im not disagreeing, but isnt that along the same line as calling your partner baby?

Agreed. I love the fact that he's a family man. It's one of his best qualities, imo.

How did the daddy thing get started? I mean in general not just with Billie. I don't think it's just used in reference to older men. I've seen it used with any man considered attractive. So I don't think that it's intended in a paternal way, more sexual. DILF is more for older attractive men. Not that I'm an expert or anything, just what I've observed. And it's still gross.

It is though, like daddy is referencing like "this big mans gonna take care of me" and baby is "my little cute partner im gonna take care of." Same thing, still sexualizing someone being your dad or your baby

On another note, Billie looked gorgeous on the Tonight Show last night.:wub::wub: I know I always complain about how he doesn't wear colours often enough, but he's been looking absolutely delicious in all black recently. His voice sounded beautiful. It was a lovely performance.

And OMG, Billie's tiny feet in the surfing pic. How adorable.

You know what they say about guys with small feet...

  Reveal hidden contents

...they wear small socks.

Okay, I'm just gonna leave now.:ermm:

I just need to say, I love your constant enthusiasm over Billie being adorable :wub:

Been at work all day and unable to watch the Fallon performance and it's killing me lol

I don't think so. Calling your partner or someone daddy is related to the dd/lg kink. I'm not judgemental of kinks, but I think it's very disrespectful to bring out sex talk at someone like that. It's not different from calling someone pet, slave, slut or a dirty whore. Calling your partner baby doesn't have these connotations.

This is slightly NSFW but it explains where it comes from

I think the word baby has more than one separate definition by this point, it really isn't associated with an actual baby at all in that context. The word daddy not so much. I mean it's not really hurting anyone but I still find it creepy :P. I think it's creepy when people refer to him as dad/daddy in a non sexual context as well though lol.

Yeah I guess. Daddy is just inherently much creepier to me/many people haha

It does depends on the context, like weed dad is hilarious but people saying I love you mom and dad in all caps on an Insta post of him and Adrienne is like nah

^^^ I had to wait for your picture to load to see which stunning one you were referring to.  We've been flooded with stunning pictures this past week, it's been so nice.  At each event I see he looks better and better.

Fair nough. Maybe im just like could be much weirder. Thats pretty tame in retrospect.

Though I do find it endearing when Billie refers to the fans as kids i must admit... "Hey glaslow kids," :happyhands:

Fear not, you are not alone, I have been analysing what's so special about it (purely for science you understand) because I am the same and I've got it down to Billie being gorgeous, so his hair, nose, glasses, lips, tattoo, hands, arms, open shirt at the neck and half untucked shirt.  Lovely.
