It's a little struggle. Ehh, sounds like things were pretty bad at that 2011 one that was more of a private party but I think these 2010 ones were more fun. He was going through some troubles at the time and obviously drunk but he was also playing up the Rev character and presumably having some fun, troubled or not he was still an entertainer putting on a good show and I think it's OK to enjoy his performances. Other is anything other than male or female. It can be like gender-neutral or gender-fluid, which is still on the male-to-female gender binary. Hermione Posted July 8, 2017 Share Posted July 8, 2017 One thing I think can get missed is he really gets into the Rev character at FBHT shows (and the other band members get into character too, like Mike is just a total badass arriving on stage smoking and stuff , I can't emphasize enough how different they are to when you see them as Green Day). I think it doesn't always come across as much in videos because you don't see much of the stuff between songs recorded but he's using all the 60's lingo and calling everyone baby girl constantly and being like a preacher and blessing people and stuff. Drinking/being drunk was part of it and surely lowered his inhibitions but with or without that he also just puts on a convincing performance as this character and I think a lot of the stuff he did came from that. This is just too good There must be because he constantly said "oh baby girl baby girl" throughout the show , can't think of a specific one but it can probably be found randomly at the beginnings/ends of some songs. I'm going to end up wanting to watch FBHT videos now so if I see an example I'll post it.
