As has been said whether he is or not isn't for us to decide. I am disappointed about Glasgow as it was on my birthday but I had an amazing time in London and Sheffield. I met Mike and Jason White in London on Friday and my view at Hyde park was stunning!! I'm not talking about anything he said post 90's. When the topic of Billie Joe's sexuality comes up, people specifically like to bring up that one interview where he says "I've always been bisexual." I find it ironic that people always reference that small quote from that interview when in the very next breath Billie retracts his statement and corrects it with "I've always been interested in bisexuality." Being interested in bisexuality, or bi-curious, and being bisexual are two very different things. You can be bi-curious and never act on it, or act on it a whole ton and still not identify as fully bisexual. I find it ironic that people always want to quote Billie saying "I've always been bisexual" and ignore the part where he corrects himself. Coming back to the interview from 2010. While he may not have asked anyone not to call himself bisexual, he did make a statement about his own sexuality. That being that he doesn't have a label for his sexuality. We already discussed a page back that he most likely said "I'd never say I'm not bisexual" as a way to keep people from labeling him as straight. I get where he is coming from, a lot of the time I will tell people I'm Gender Neutral because it's easier than explaining that I don't have or want a label for my gender. Same goes with my sexuality, I don't really want or identify with a label for my sexuality. It comes down to respect, calling him bisexual or not labeling his sexuality. Even if he is cool with it, he doesn't identify as bisexual. He's said he doesn't have a label for his sexuality, so if you respected him as a person you wouldn't be trying to place a label on him. It just kind of shows how people don't actually give a shit about his stance on his sexuality, but only care about the sexuality that they want him to be.
