I danced, I sang and I clapped my hands into they hurt. Unfortunately, I had a mannequin sitting next to me- but this only made me shout/clap/cheer louder. Fuck them.

My only complaint about my gig was that the two and a half hour went by too quickly- but I guess this means I had such a good time!!!

Sorry for talking about my gig for the 100th time (and writing such a long post). But I enjoyed myself so much! My 1st GD was everything that I hoped for... and more. Take me back!

My throat was so dry and it hurt to swallow from all the yelling and singing but it didn't slow me down at all. But I do plan on having a bottle of water with me in September when I see them again.

Besides the speed at which the show seemed to go by is the kind of fuzziness of remembering everything. It's like I saw it drunk but I didn't. Just too much awesome for my brain to handle.

Every post about a just past show makes me think about seeing them (March 5 Houston) and bring it all back. It was my 1st for them also and it could not have been any better.

HELL NO YOU COULDN'T!  Hell I had someone just drop out of going with me and I got so upset and angry. And that wasn't even me missing the show. I don't know what would have happened in that instance but it would not have been good

I know! The 3 Green Day shows that I went to are the best shows EVER. :runaround: Any other show can't beat the feeling that I have after a Green Day show.

All of this makes me so anxious and excited for my first GD show in September.   But I'm nervous too because it's an amphitheater show and I'm way out on the lawn.  😢  I don't know if that is going to give me the experience I want.  But I know I'm lucky that I even get to see them.

It's such an anxious time, right from being able to buy tickets, and then our airline had a cabin crew strike so our flights were changed- and it was all still worth it!

It'll be fine, Billie is a total master at including everyone even at huge gigs.  Next time I see them in July it's outdoors so will be different but I know it will be ace! 99 days to go :runaround:

All this concert talking makes me feel so depressed ugh, but I love reading how happy and excited you all are for your shows.

You are in Mexico, right?  Too bad you can't go to a show in SW US.  BTW, I'm your neighbor, NEW Mexico.

I wasn't depressed so much as it was a coming-down type feeling. I looked forward to the show for 5 months and then it was over and there was nothing to look forward to.

Now I've gotten tickets to a September show and the cycle is starting all over again.

Actually, yeah- this exactly.

Only difference is it's the end of August for me.

I actually don't like to watch concerts or live videos cause it makes me sad lol, like it's been years since I watched BIAB or AAF, and I've watched live videos of RevRad tour but just when something happens, like that girl huggin' Tré or Billie saying a very awesome speech :P Otherwise I just like to watch old shows, especially from 1993

I just had another look at the hotel window picture of Billie from the other week (who hasn't looked at it again :whistle), my god, he needs a suntan as his skins' a bit pasty. Perhaps he could go down to the beach to get a suntan and do some surfing....

He's in Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa this week, so no suntanning weather here. It's been cloudy and rainy and high temps. only in the 40's. The only nearby beach is by Lake Michigan or Mississippi River and if he tried to swim in either one of those he would freeze his little hinnie off. And he doesn't have much to freeze off to begin with. LOL

Haha, Hinnie.

I meant when he gets back to California he could do some more surfing- like what we saw in Quatro with the vest top

He looks so damn good with a little tan. I hate to say it because I'm mighty pale myself, but most people do look good and a bit healthier with a tiny bit of a tan.

He can go from vampire-like pale to really nice olive tinted tan withought getting sunburnt, that's called luck.

He just has a good skin tone for tanning. It's olive. I'm more pink and in order to not burn, I need to wear sunscreen that is so strong I barely get any color.

Agreed, a bit of tan is good, but purposefully baking yourself in the sun in order to get some is weird. I don't get why anyone thinks it's fun.

I never use sunscreen and don't get burns but I avoid sun because I don't want to get more freckles than I already have.
