I bet! I think I'll be the same when I finally see them live next week. Don't know what I'd be like if I met them so kind of glad it won't happen

Tbh whenever I thought of meeting them (or seeing them somewhere) I always knew I would act like a creepy stalker and I really did!

Haha honestly I think I'd likely be the same as you I'd be terrified to ask for a photo. That's as far as I've thought about it as I honestly don't believe it will happen for me. I do love hearing other people's experiences though and how nice they are with fans :)

I laughed out loud at your description of Billie taking your picture (seriously, wtf:D), cutest story ever!

I'm definitely in the "I'll never meet them" camp - I'm too awkard for small talk in the first place, let alone in another language, let alone with flipping Green Day:runaround: I met my then huge obsession Travis at a radio session thing in 2003, got a picture and everything but I don't remember talking to them at all, I probably didn't lol.

Part of me also finds the whole fan/idol concept kind of weird, especially seeking them out in private situations, screaming their names outside of hotels, that kind of stuff. Like two worlds meeting that should stay separated? I'm probably not making sense. I think it's that being shy myself I just can't get my head around them not minding the attention. Anyway, your vivid account of how awkward you felt (relatable) yet them being so incredibly nice is really heartwarming. They really DO seem to enjoy it too. Almost makes me hope I'll dare to jump on the chance should I ever get it

If Billie, Mike or Tré were ever in front of me, I know that I'd honestly just blow my chance to get a picture with them! First of all, I'd just be someone who'd let everyone else go before me and second of all, I'd be too petrified to ask (and/or come across as a creepy stalker)! It once took me 45 minutes to work up the courage to ask for a sheet of paper during a science class, so I know I'd have no hope

This made me feel so sad.

I have the feeling that I could actually be cool meeting them and have a talk, and that's weird cause I'm incredible shy and awkward, but they've always give me this very awesome vibe that they're so cool and nice to talk. But anyways, I'm sure I'll never get to meet them, but I love reading stories of fans who did, specially these cute and adorable stories.

I'm sure I've said this before, but I get awkwardly casual around celebrities in general, and I don't think they like it (oops). I once met a famous vlogger/blogger in Sweden together with my best friend, who started crying and freaking out. I just talked politely and said that I loved her work, and sort of tried to strike up a conversation with her like I would with a normal person. She ended up just looking at me with some kind of distaste and giving some bracelets to my best friend (obviously none to me, awh). Perhaps the awkward fangirling is what celebs like? Sucks to be me, I guess?

That wasn't the intention! There's probably a better way to articulate what I mean, I agree with everything you say :) There's just something slightly cringey about exposing them to the shrieking fangirl stereotype (the 4th comment down on this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b-Qo3z3nhtc  touches on the same subject, and kinda stayed with me). But obviously most fans are alright

I feel like anyone from GD wouldn't do that though. They seem like nice, non-snobbish guys, who wouldn't mind striking up a normal conversation.

The talk earlier of Billie's muscular legs(!) made me wonder whether he works out at all or (even better) is a runner to any degree, can't deny that this added some fuel to that fire :cool:

I'm new to following them this closely, do we know anything about that? Of course Mike's on that treadmill in BIAB () and Tré is clearly pretty agile but what about Billie? I guess he builds a lot of stamina simply from performing but him being a runner would make him even more perfect in my eyes (yes I'm weird).

There's actually a picture where he's running on a race track, don't know if I can post it, but I don't remember where to find it tho lol, and he also goes surfing every now and then :P

His legs are so thin and small. I think he probably just gets in shape from performing almost every night.

Ooh, please share if you do find it. And yeah, the intro to Cuatro is pretty dreamy but endurance Billie would just be icing on the cake haha

Hahaha "endurance Billie" I'm imagining different Billie action figures you can collect and that's one. He's dressed in one of those sweat bands across his forehead and short shorts and athletic shoes 😂

Video of Billie surfing is a religious experience.

Somehow Billie surfing doesn't do that much for me (other than seeing his arms always being good). He just never looks cool doing it :P, even though it's an activity that you'd expect to make him look cool. Same as Billie on a motorbike.

Actually, I get the motorbike thing.  He is never riding a cool Harley, it's always something like a vespa, which is so uncool.

God now I know how Tre does all those high kicks. He and Billie are obviously naturally flexible. And that's all I'm saying about flexibility before I get myself in trouble.

As far as exercise, I think Billie's exercise is all cardio judging from his physique. Performing, surfing, and walking is obviously all he needs. Also, he is obviously a very hyperactive person and that in itself burns tons of calories a day.

I'm sorry, how do I remove pics from quoted posts like I'm supposed to?

I couldn't agree more! I've probably watched that way more times than I should :ermm:

There's a picture from a couple of years ago of Billie going out for a run in NYC and someone tweeted about being at the gym with him - both running on treadmills.  So I guess he runs.   I think I read once somewhere that he also does yoga but I'm not positive.

And yes, he loves to walk around a lot.  He's talked about that too.
