Posted January 5, 2017 Share Posted January 5, 2017 I must be more of a fangirl than I thought, I dreamt about meeting Mike Spoiler I was at some kind of event with lots of other people, and I knew the guys were there... I think I wasn’t supposed to be there, but somehow I snuck in. Then I saw Mike with people around him who wanted him to sign something or whatever, and I remember having this discussion with myself in the dream that I just need to keep calm and try to strike up a conversation , which I did. It was a little awkward, but I managed to speak to him for a few minutes. What I remember from the conversation is that I told him I’m seeing them play in Vienna the next day (which they’re not even doing on this tour) and he said that’s great (lol). And then came the weird part when I asked him to take a picture with me and he agreed, but when I looked at the picture after, Mike looked like a completely different person in it (it was weird, if I was good at drawing I could draw the man I saw in the picture, I remember the face really well). I started panicking and thinking that no one’s going to believe me I met him (as if that mattered haha). We took more pictures then, and with each picture he started looking more and more like himself; I felt very relieved Then the dream had some strange continuation, which I don’t really remember. And on fangirling, well, I've been known to fangirl on occasion and I'm a heterosexual male - it's not necessarily about being sexually attracted to the guys, it's about being overcome by their awesomeness. Also when Billie calls Tre "the drummer" it took me a moment to realize that not everyone in the world knows all the members of Green Day by name, their birthdays, shoe size, and favorite era of post-modern European architecture like we do...
