No, lets talk about his feet. I am strangely  interested in his feet.

I like his feet too. Guy  feet are gross but Billie Joe's are exempt because his are little and perfect like him.

Well, I don't want to touch them or anything...

I do. I'll touch any part of him I can get my hands on..

Yes sadly there are some floating around -  they are from his surfing season last year:ermm:

Good Lord, DO NOT run a Google Search!  Everything but feet -- and I  mean everything! :ermm:

pfft that's nothing - there was 5 pages of posts about BJ's knees in Ordinary World & let's not get started on his feet:lol:

I don't believe he has either tbh. I don't think I've ever seen them.

I prefer a slightly receding chin to a big/broad chin

And I have no problem with googling Billie's feet

ok, have just got up to this whole thing having moved on and have been laughing out loud at you guys, which at 6.30 isn't bad!  Jane Lassiter, my dear what is that thing at the bottom of Billie's face in the pic that you use on here?  Re the feet, poor feet totally unloved, there is a pic of Billie in wet suit and while his feet may not the first thing you look at they are fine, all the comments about it were around him actually not having converse.

ps I pick stuff up with my feet 😂

I posted just to check...

Edit: it looks like a chin but not much of one. But like I said, it's anatomically ok. Obviously, I've got great taste in pictures of Billie.

Feet are kind of weird and I don't really like them or care about them. However, wetsuits are very pleasant to look at.

Agreed, I think it's great he did that. I don't know how much riskier coming out was at that time but it never is an easy thing to do I guess and imo he's a good role model. I like how self-accepting he is.

And I agree about your last point as well. And I do think it has a positive influence as well. A friend of mine used to slur guys who weren't manly enough for his taste. His fave word at that time was faggot. And he loved Green Day so once when he did that I sent him pics like this.

He was like: "but Billie's not a faggot!!!!???? :cry::cry:" but he never did that again  (at least not in front of me).

Coming out in the 90s was a pretty ballsy thing for anyone to do, but especially someone with such a young and public career. If it has the potential to ruin mens' acting careers especially even today, considering we are making progress with shattering stereotypes more and more as each day goes on, you can imagine how much worse it would've been then =/

Oh my god, you've just reminded me of this brilliance  I love him so much.

Totally agree with most of this.  Dare I say, I think "real men" don't do that super macho thing, including the walk that makes them look a gorilla!  Real men don't feel the need to let everyone know who they are like that, they are just themselves, I think being comfortable in your own skin is one of the things that makes people naturally attractive, please see Billie Joe Armstrong lol.  Not sure why nobody seems to comment so much on women and all their varieties of how feminine they are.  I have never been the most feminine or girlie girl, don't do flowery stuff or pink etc but nobody seems to think that makes me gay - or maybe they do and I just don't know or care.  Don't think Billie's sexuality is a big issue though, think he just is who he is, a gorgeous little nugget of a man

His sexuality isn't a big deal in defining him as a person, that's not what I meant at all. More in terms of being a big deal and being important in terms of visibility, especially as a person who identifies as bisexual myself. I can't put enough weight on how important it is to be able to know the person I've looked up to probably the most in my entire life is the same as I am in that sense, because bisexuality is persecuted both by heterosexual and gay/lesbian people alike. It's a constant struggle to feel like anyone actually understands, so to have Billie own it so unapologetically? It's important.

Well said! It's true this doesn't get discussed very often on GDC (I think that's because it's easy for it to turn into an intrusive discussion with people defining his sexuality for him and arguing about whether he's "still bisexual" and stuff, plus there just isn't a reason to bring it up that often), but definitely deserves acknowledgement. Even when it isn't said I think a lot of people feel the same.

Great post, it definitely is very admirable he did that, especially when he just could keep it to himself.

Do you think it's legit? Because I do hope so

I agree 100%.

Unfortunately having other people try to define your sexuality for you if you decide to step into that bisexual box is pretty unavoidable. Even other bisexual-identifying people, which I've had to cut ties with acquaintances over as recently as a few months ago :ermm: So I definitely see the danger, and no offence to Billie, but it's not really about him for me  I don't care what his experiences are or aren't because they're none of my business. It's enough for me that he's brave enough to claim that identity in the first place. It's especially brave for a man to identify as such, since people are so dismissive that it's an actual sexuality and men who are bi are obviously really gay but not come to terms with it yet, and women are just doing it for the attention of men  Gotta love that male-centric way of viewing the world.

Yeah, that's the part that I find especially admirable. He had no obligation because it's not like he would've been romantically involved with anyone except Adrienne at the time or since then  And I don't want anyone to ever tell me if that isn't real. Let me believe it is

Sorry completely misunderstood you there, I can quite see your point.  I will never get -  and am one of the older fans around here, as if that could be an excuse - why people are so judgemental of how anyone feels and yes, I know what you mean about the bisexual bit, have seen that happen.  I don't feel like that but that doesn't mean it's not how other people feel,  there are lots things I haven't experienced, doesn't make them not real.  Live and let live I would say.

I agree with Hermione, I think it's better that this topic doesn't come up very often because it can gets nasty each time it does. I don't understand why people think they have a say in anyone else's sexuality/their opinion matters/they think they know it better than the person themselves. It's like insisting a blonde person has black hair, maybe just not as obvious.

Yes, exactly. I don't think I'd say anything myself...it's definitely a very brave thing to do.

And I want to believe it too haha

Oh, thanks. It's lovely...I must have subconsciously choose a photo in which he sports a chin.

Well said... Just because I haven't experienced something doesn't mean I can downplay someone else's experience.

I'm kinda surprised that he doesn't have more tattoos on his legs, but then again he probably can't because he's too busy wearing the same pairs of pants for years on end. He probably never takes them off for months at a time.

They aren't pants.

They are the tattoo.

That's why he can't get any more leg tats or take his pants off.
