I know I'm exactly the same!! I've gone from wanting to see them for over 2 decades to seeing them 3 times in a week. It's not going to sink in until they are stood on that stage in front of me I think.

I have to wait until April 30 :runaround: I'm okay with the wait to be honest, because I'm not sure how I'll ever process it ending considering I'm following them around the entire country for 12 days.

That sounds amazing though and will be well worth the wait. I wish they were playing more in the UK. I have another event on when they play Hyde Park so I can't go to that and I would love to go to more shows

I'm a healthy mix of insanely excited and scared shitless :D I have never traveled so extensively in such a short time before, let alone on my own.

You won't, he is absolutely beautiful in person. I stared at only him for every second he was on stage when I saw them in Boston, just drinking in as much of his impossible beauty as I could. No matter where you sit or stand, his beauty fills the concert hall with radiant, blessed glory.

Couldn't agree more, he is so beautiful and charismatic that you can't take your eyes off him.  Green Day have ruined every other band live for me but I' m coping with it - especially as I get to see them in February. :dance::dance:

Haha I know how you exactly how you feel. I'm going to the Leeds show with family and it's only a couple of miles away but I'm going to Manchester and London on my own. I'm scared more about the London one as I've only ever been to London once lol

You are doing better than me! I've never been to Perth and Adelaide, and spent no time at all in the actual city in Melbourne. I know Brisbane fairly well... but the venue is in a part of the city I've never been to, so that doesn't really help me  We can do it, right? God, I'm scared 😂

We can do it!! Just keep in mind you are seeing green day and will be seeing the stunningly beautiful Billie in front of you! I would walk to London if I had to 😂

I'm seeing them again in March in Massachusetts  with my sons, I got pit tickets so I'll be nice and close to Billie Joe's dazzling beauty! I can't wait!!

I have standing tickets for 2 of the shows I'm going to and I'm actually terrified about it. I really want to get to the front but knowing my luck will end up at the back. I'm quite short too so that won't help. If I do get to the front by some miracle I will make no apologies for the freak out I will have at having Billie Joe in front of me

I wish I could see them more than once, but I can't as I don't have the holiday leave - I'd booked off holiday leave and paid for a holiday before the tour dates came out. Nevertheless I will savour the gig at Leeds as I have waited years to see Billie in the flesh and I will scream at him from the top floor in my loud Geordie accent!

I'm just starting a new job in 2 weeks and I told them at my interview I had dates in February I had to have off lol! I'll be screaming in my Scottish accent. I don't think they will have a clue what anyone is saying

I'm seeing them twice in Late March and early April and time isn't going fast enough! I want March to be here now! I'm going by myself but I don't mind since I'll be seeing them in 2 cities I'm very familiar with and it's during Spring Break so I won't have to take any time off, which worked out great! I'm in the pit for the first show and seating for the second, but they are good seats so it'll be ok. I got an email today to print the St. Paul tickets off from Stub Hub. That makes it seem even more real and exciting. I'm counting down the months.

All I need to hope and pray for is that we don't get a humongous snowstorm during that time because the weather in March and April in Wisconsin and Minnesota can be pretty unforgiving sometimes.

:o my condolences. I knew these states were cold but not that they're like the north pole. Good luck, queuing in the cold is no fun.

Seeing them in January, in my hometown. My parents would flip out if I wanted to travel, let alone on my own :P

I always thought it was appropriate because it's before the "climax" of the song , like he teases the audience by doing that and then goes for the real musical climax. Not really sure why but the band think of Hitchin a Ride as being sexual (even before Billie started doing that they'd talk about it being a song to move your pelvis to and stuff) so I think that's why he does it. I'm a fan of it, I do think it's sexy :P, but regardless of that I just love that he'll do totally weird/embarrassing things on stage to take the crowd out of their comfort zone.

As a note to @tresexy101 and everyone can we not post sexual fantasies here? Posting about how hot the band members are is fine but we need to draw a line somewhere so please leave what you'd like to do to them/yourself out. Just a reminder.

I'm sorry about being graphic but I thought, well, I figured out by reading posts, that the 'fangirls' have fantasies about Billie and all that jazz.   I mean I've read posts about how sexy and hot he is wearing this shirt or those pants and what they would do to William Joseph.  I'll tone my imaginations down.  Having said that I think people,  including Billie Joe, said to let your imaginations run wild.  Especially positive imaginations during a world full or shite.  Once again, sorry.  Right now I'm thinking about a flower growing in the crack of the street.  Also thinking about censorship but I'll keep that to myself..  get it?  I'll keep what I really wanna say to ......ahhh, nevermind.

Don't wish the time away! Isn't half the fun of seeing your favourite band all in the anticipation?  Like good sex, you have to build up to the climax

I really hope that Green Day arrange a last minute Halloween gig. It's about time we had another ghoulish gig to watch/ fangirl over ;)

Ladies, can you imagine Billie - with his face painted as a clown or a zombie - singing "give me death or give me head"!!!  (I'm crying with laughter as I write this post). I think he'd make a sexy clown or a zombie :wub::wub:

Ugh, I was thinking the same thing.  March is such an iffy time.  It could be 80 or 2 feet of snow.  And they are predicting that this year will be a bad winter.  Just one more thing to add to our stress level.

It's alright, like I said we just like to draw the line at posting fantasies/what you'd like to do to them because there has to be some limit here and I noticed there were a few posts straying that way (not just yours). Feel free to let your imagination run wild in your head :P

Well I, for one, enjoyed your posts very much...but that's just me, I'm a pervert when it comes to Billie Joe...

Yes the Massachusetts Turnpike in a snowstorm would SUCK.

Hasn't it been a bad winter for the last 3 winters. They should have come here first - weather wise it would have been better for you.
