Haha yeah, I know. I'm making rocket science out of it :P I usually have hard time to pick what direction to run for when I enter a venue because I'm like "oh fuck, who is standing where???" so I'm making elaborate plans this time :D

Billie Joe was all over that stage, so I think you'd have no problem matter where you'd end up. He doesn't stand still much!

Well I had a great time, the concert was amazing!

Billie Joe was absolutely stunning. His hair was gorgeous and he had eyeliner. He looked so healthy and happy, just full of energy and joy!

He was dressed all in black tonight: dress shirt, vest, and tight tight sexy as hell skinny jeans. He had black converse and I saw a flash of red on his socks, but I don't know if they were stripey. He had the sexy butt hanky, black with white polka dots. He came out with a red tie with polka dots, I think. But the best thing was after only two or three songs he loosened the tie and then PULLED IT OFF and OMG his shirt was unbuttoned at least two buttons and THAT tattoo was fully on display for the entire concert...he was in full blast sexy rock star mode. What a gorgeous, talented man! This was the best birthday ever!

Aww he dressed up for your Birthday. Billie Joe must really like you :)

Guys.

I ran into the Beej at the Lincoln Memorial today with @TheUnforgiven

He was like a tiny, delicate, celestial being.

I didn't bother him or anything however I did get butt pics so I'll upload once I figure out how to. My bf saw his face behind those bug-eyed sun glasses but I just watched him float by and disappear once fans started to swarm.

Wow, how cool!
I don't know what I'd do if I ran into him so casually... I kinda feel like I'd probably just run away

That is too cool. :D Curious, how did the fans act once they spotted him? I always wonder what that sort of situation is like, where he's randomly spotted in public. Based on what I saw in Cleveland at the hall of fame induction, the fans were ruthless. It has to be so strange, never being able to go anywhere or do anything normal people can do.

Honestly if I saw him I think I'd feel bad about bothering him, but then regret it later if I didn't at least go say hi.

yeah i'd love to say that i would leave billie alone and not bother him at all but i'd regret it forever if i didn't say something to him. honestly, in the 12 years i've been going to green day shows, i've only seen him outside of a concert one time and it was from a distance when he was leaving the hall of fame induction. i've randomly run into mike and tre and pretty much all of their crew multiple times but never even a glimpse of billie joe :P i really hate the idea of being an annoying fan but i've wanted to meet him for so long i wouldn't be able to pass up that opportunity.

i'm sure it's different when they're on tour too and they expect to be meeting more fans. i doubt he gets swarmed every time he leaves the house during their downtime.

I think there's a fine line when it concerns seeing artists in public.

On one had, I think giving them an acknowledgement is fine-be it a nod, or saying hey.

However, one has to gauge how receptive they are. If they approach or something, alright. If they acknowledge you back, ok. But when it comes to pictures, I don't think one should necessarily ask for them but if the artist asks if you want one, then ok.

I don't know if it's just me, but with conversation/verbal acknowledgement... it's almost as if one were to begin a conversation with a stranger except that they are pretty well known. Then again, you wouldn't necessarily take a picture with a stranger either (in most circumstanes).

I feel so weird, because I feel I'm the only one who would be too shy to even say hi or even look at him just in case he says something to me. I'd totally blush!

No your not.  As much as I would like to think that I would say something, I know that I would be too nervous.  I was that way the day I met Hugh Jackman as well.  But, even if I was not too nervous, I would have let him be at the Lincoln Memorial

You're not. To this day, one of my biggest regrets is being too shy to ask Chad Gilbert (guitarist of New Found Glory) for a picture when I saw him at the Subway in Columbus next to Newport Music Hall.

I know Brandon wouldn't let me chicken out with Billie though. Mainly because he wouldn't want to deal with the aftermath and inevitable meltdown.

This is the description of him I've possibly been looking for my entire life.

No I would be the same I would lose all ability to speak, at least actual words, a few vowels might get out but that would be about it. That happened to me with an actor I had really wanted to meet when I did I couldn't talk and then bumped into him later the same day and I did actually turn and run away haha I would probably be worse with Billie lol

There's no way I could ever talk to Billie.  Maybe Mike, maybe Tre or Jason.  But not Billie.  Although I would love to talk to Adrienne about knitting (pretty sure I've said that before).

I think i'd struggle speaking to any of them but I'd be the worst with Billie.

I hate that I'm like this, but I'd never be able to talk to him either. Which is silly, because the fact that he seems like a sweet person who is kind to fans is part of why I like him so much. But I'd just get too shy/embarrassed. For my job, I have to talk to CEOs of huge corporations all the time (they're like the rockstars of their industry, lol), and I never feel intimidated or nervous. I'd be shy around other members of the band, but I think I'd be able to talk to them. Billie? Nope nope nope. I'd clam up completely.

I'm the same. But I usually clam up meeting anyone new regardless of who they are or if they're famous or not. I'm just worse if it's someone famous that I want to meet lol

He did have a red tie for the first 2 songs before he stripped it off and tossed it into the wing.

"A tiny delicate celestial being"...those are perfect words to describe him in person! I ran into him at his film premiere and his beauty was so magical I nearly fainted. All I could say was "Hi" and he said "Hi" back and smiled. His clear light green eyes sparkled. I was stunned speechless. So I understand how you couldn't talk to him! Congratulations on witnessing the beauty of Billie Joe in person! I love the rear view picture, too!

(can't remove the picture on my phone.)
