Many bands lose their popularity eventually, and end up playing smaller shows more regularly toward the end of their careers, where you'd be much more likely to be able to meet them at some sort of meet-and-greet thing afterward. Realistically, I expect to meet them someday too in that sort of situation. Which would be great, since by then you know it's just the diehards who are going to the shows. alexandra_1039 Posted February 5, 2014 Share Posted February 5, 2014 well since its on the topic, ill tell one of my many dreams ive had about green day. one of the more interesting ones started like this: I was at something similar to warped tour but there were a bunch of water slides and random stuff, and green day was playing there, after their show it started raining and conveniently my grandmas house appeared 100 feet away from me lol, so I ran to her house to get out of the rain. So i go inside and im all like "oh hey nani!" and then I realize billie joe is sitting on her couch all soaking wet from the rain (good god help me), and I play it cool, like oh i think i know you! (ppfffft like i would EVER be able to keep that calm in real life), and then i asked him to take pictures with me on my iphone and he took a bunch of selfies and then I woke up and i was THIS close to actually checking my camera roll because it felt so real.
