Z J Posted April 9, 2013 Share Posted April 9, 2013 Was roaming around youtube looking for live versions of Stuart and the Ave and I haven't been able to find one. I found two videos where BJA begins to sing it but then forgets the lyrics. So I have two questions: 1) any reason why they don't perform it live 2) There seems to be a problem remembering the lyrics, any info on why that is or other instances where it happens. Dont worry I'll wait... (I love it, and I would love to hear it live) But I don't hear that many people here wanting it in the setlists. Point is... Sure, you get variety but I would rather hear the whole crowd singing along to every word and dancing rather than staring at the band while they play Dry Ice wondering what the hell is that? Sure, they play a similar setlist on each tour but there is always variety, and the fact that they play similar gigs each time means they practise and have those songs/live performances down to a tee and can have fun with them. But it's a rare thing to see a Green Day fan that prefer Insomniac on Dookie, Kerplunk, Nimrod or American Idiot! So yeah as they said that's why they don't play anything off it much! It's not popular for most of the fans for some reason! I too searched for the songs off it live, and didn't find much, although Geek Stink Breath is played a lot, and sometimes Brat, that's all!
