I bought the blue hoodie in Berkeley. Yes it was $95 but it looks cool and is probably the most comfortable top I own.

Anyone got any pictures of the back of the hat? Also is there anywhere online you can get the hat? :)

I completely splurged on merch. Everything they're selling is so awesome!

I got the vest, the blue hoodie, and the girls' white baseball tee.

Could you please upload a photo of the back of the hat? Was thinking about buying it when they come to Australia, eventually. :/

Also, to stay on topic I dunno if it's been discussed but there's an ADORABLE fitted ladies tank top in white with a black skull and pink x's and it says Uno Dos Tre or something. I bought it and LOVE it.

That's the one I bought at the L.A. show Thursday night. I saw it and bought it immediately! Super adorable!

OOooooh a tour merch thread.

I took a picture of the merch tent at the show I went to, April 11th in Toronto and I edited it and put it on tumblr:

I know, I know; tour merchandise has to be expensive for reasons.

Anyway I bought the red shirt for me and the black one on the right for my friend. I'm in love with the red one, as you can see from my icon.

Has anyone seen this shirt on the tour? http://www.bandstores.co.uk/shop/greenday/proddetail.php?prod=12147009

I am looking to buy it when the come out to Australia. So if they sell it how much is it at the tour store.

Also does anyone know what ever happened to their Australian store. It has never been listed on their website, but they posted a link to it on their facebook page a month or so before the release of Uno, and I have been unable to find it ever since.

Nope, didn't see that at the Berkeley show.

I like that it is expensive. Just means that I won't see 200 kids walking the streets with the same jacket/vest/hoodie/tshirt I bought. :) I love having a job and being able to afford these things!

I have a job & I can't afford any of it.. Just depends on how much you earn and how much you pay out in bills.

Also, I'd be more than happy to see other people with the same shirt/hoodie as me, means they love the same band & are able to show their love in a nice way, by buying their merch & advertising it to those around them.

Not trying to sound like a dick here but your post just came across a bit.. Unfair. Particularly to those who don't have an awful lot of money.

I have tons of bills. And yeah it is unfair, but I like the band enough that a $115 vest was just fine by me. But I also work 40 hours a week at a very difficult job that pays well and I also run a business on the side so I essentially work all the time. And no I don't think it's cool to wear the same gear as a kid who is only into the band for the next 10 mins. Also life is not fair :)

Well good for you, great that you have that much money and I'm pleased that you work hard for it but that does not mean it's okay to charge over $100 for a vest when a lot of the bands fans are teenagers who can't work that much because of, y'know, getting a good education?

Okay, well if you don't wanna wear the same merch as every other fan out there, then make your own. There will always be someone with the same clothes as you and there's fuck all you can do about it unless you make it yourself. Who cares if they're gunna like the bands for 10 minutes or 10 years, they like the band, that's all that matters. Just because they've liked them for less time than you does NOT mean they don't deserve to have the same merch as you. I've liked the bands for around 9 years now & no matter how much I scrimp and save, I will never be able to justify $115 dollars for a fucking vest.

Sorry but this merch is ridiculously overpriced.

I own a clothing line. I do make my own cloths lol. I pay others to do it actually. Also my first gd show was in 1995 and if u factor in inflation, the prices have not changed a great deal. It's just that the number of self entitled kids who think everything from music to movies and now clothes need to be free has increased exponentially...

This was on sale in Shepherd's Bush and Rock en Seine (Paris) last year if i remember correctly. I had to choose between that and the red shirt and i got the red one in the end. Not sure why they haven't continued this one in the 2013 tour (so far)

Lol you just proved my point. Also go to metropolis and see the merch prices...a t is $30...hoodie 65$...but it's way more expensive to run a stadium tour..

There are a whole lot of assumptions being made in that post.
