That Dude
Some day, just for you, I really hope to hear Billie sing the exact words F(woo) Time. This time around, all "Hey Oh"s will be replaced with "F(woo)"s.

That Dude
Jesus of Suburbia She Holiday Know Your Enemy 21st Century Breakdown Boulevard of Broken Dreams Welcome to Paradise Basketcase Minority 21 Guns When I Come Around American Idiot Oh Love Let Yourself GO Kill the DJ This the tracks mentioned in that "Coming to a City Near You" video. While they are all singles, it would still be a unique and awesome set. I know people are going to hate on it ending with Kill the DJ, but whatever. I think that's kind of you. I can see big pyro explosion going off at the end and fake (or real) blood raining down on everyone at the end. Billie Joe laughs, throws his guitar into the blood just like he did with the slime in American Idiot's music video and they are off the the next city. I might do one with these songs, but bulk it up with other songs, later.

That Dude
I was looking at the album sales for each Green Day album. Everyone knows that Dookie and American Idiot are their biggest successes ever, but looking at the other numbers it's easy to see how they choose which songs to play live. Warning, 21st Century Breakdown, 1039 and the Trilogy just don't have the numbers that their other albums have, and that is reflected in their set lists. I'm a huge fan of the trilogy, but WOW. Even if you combine the sales of Uno, Dos and Tre into one lump sum, it's still their least successful album ever. 383,000 total. I really wish they would start throwing in the songs they have never played from the trilogy, but it looks as if they might just forget the trilogy ever happened and move forward without playing any trilogy songs (except for 99 Revolutions, with which they choose to pummel into the ground as an opener, which is fine). But for their big concerts, we can expect to hear lots of Dookie, American Idiot and Nimrod, followed by choice songs from Kerplunk, Insomniac, Warning and 21st Century Breakdown on occasion. If we are REALLY, REALLY lucky - tiny sprinkles of 1039/smooth and the trilogy. But not Dos. Because F(woo) Dos. Either they know no one bought it (like I said, they play what people know), they despise it, or I'm thinking that maybe those songs just bring back bad memories about a dark time in Billie's life. I hope one day they get past whatever it is, even if it is simply to play an acoustic "See you Tonight". Not a setlist, but just my thoughts about Green Day Live. on a side note, these are the only Trilogy songs that really got showcased live: Oh Love, Stay the Night, Let Yourself GO, Stop When the Red Lights Flash, Stray Heart, 99 Revolutions, Brutal Love and X-Kid. That's 8 out of 37 songs. Others were played but not more than a dozen times, and most of the songs were only played once, during those secret club shows. And as for "See you Tonight", "Nightlife", "Baby Eyes" and "The Forgotten".....These songs may never be heard at a Green Day ever.

Nothing wrong with them or anything, I like Good Riddance, I like Redundant, I like Rotting, I like Macy's Day Parade. Oh well, you get the point. jakdokinori
Definitely featuring a lot more songs from their early days, and an acoustic set would be awesome too. I remember watching a clip from the 21CB tour where there was an acoustic version of Give Me Novacaine and Words I Might Have Ate.
