Chin for a Day
I have always liked the thought of opening with Panic Song. Panic Song would be good too. I just never thought of opening with JoS. Once I saw it, I thought it was great. I'm not sure if they would do a 10 min song for an intro though.

OK, I never thought of it as one either, but when he put it there, I thought it might work. We will just have to tell them to try it out so we can tell for sure. I'm sure Billie will listen to us.

That will be a good job for him as long as someone doesn't start giving him shit. Then he will jump over the desk and beat the crap out of them. That might not be good for business.

They have never played Bab's Uvula Who?, Panic Song or Westbound Sign at any show! The only Insomniac songs that get played at shows are Brainstew/Jaded and Geek Stink Breath. and Frankly, while it's a good song, I could do without Brainstew. That Dude
Here's a thought. What songs would you want to hear from Billie Joe Armstrong solo? Obviously he would probably play a lot of Green Day songs, but it would be a good opportunity to play some rare tracks, or songs from his other bands/projects. I'm picturing him doing a mostly acoustic set, where he plays songs from all over the map, from: These Paper Bullets Pinhead Gunpowder Foxboro Hot Tubs The Network (an acoustic Roshambo anyone?) Rodeo Queens Billie Joe and Norah Green Day unreleased tracks. (an acoustic Dreamcatcher anyone?)

I'm not a huge fan of Pinhead, but their cover of Mahogany was outstanding. I will say it, couldn't stand the Network. Please no The Network. I would love to see some special guests. I thought Billie and James Hetfield sounded great together. And I loved how Elvis Costello looked at him so admirably. A Billie Joe and friends acoustic set.

I made a mix cd of their songs recently and it turns out, they have some really amazing stuff. Some of the songs could be Green Day songs and some, not. I like hearing Jason White sing lead. And yes, Mahogany is a real treat. I would also love to see Billie Joe with special guests. It was the one with Mahogany. The reviewer gave it a great review. He thought it was a really nice mix of Billie's melodic voice and Jason. They said Jason does not have a good singing voice, but it is a good punk voice. If they did not have Jason sing, it would be a Green Day album. The reviewer also really liked Mahogany. I'm still not a huge fan, but I will take them over The Network any day.
