As I'm getting ready to bawl my eyes out over the loss of 30 Rock, this was a nice surprise to make me feel better :)

New favorite thing in the history of forever:

Hahahaha, omg his face!! I love that! I predict it will turn into a zillion memes everywhere.

Oh wait, it's going to be premiered on March 15 in Austin, Texas!

I just hope it gets released for the general public after that!

I love the trailer!! I love how the trailer ends as soon as they start to talk about Billie Joe playing St. Jimmy!! The suspense!!

I've been waiting for something like this ever since seeing American Idiot on Broadway.

I really hope this is released on DVD for all of us to enjoy. I'd really love to see it on the big screen but I'd settle for a DVD.

I wish I could have seen the show. Especially with the original cast. I feel so left out

Oh wow this was a nice surprise.. I had no idea a documentary was being made.. I thought it was a spoof when I saw it pop up on my FB feed!

Anyone know who the British guy is in the trailer? Sorry if that's a really dumb question and someone I should know already!

Ahha don't worry, I didn't get to see it either, but the documentary should still be really interesting!

Wow, he looks really old in the interview portions. Excited for this though, saw him play St. Jimmy in New York and it was amazing.

That would be cool if Green Dy performed at sxsw since Mystic Knights of the Cobra will also be there...

I'd say there's a decent chance the band attends the SXSW premiere and performs there in march. It's a huge music festival too, and I know the Foo Fighters did a surprise gig after they screened their documentary :)

Also, that trailer makes me so giddy because there's so much footage from when the show was still in workshops at the Powerhouse Theater which is where I went to school and to see Green Day sitting in the same chairs that I've sat in, INSIDE MY OLD DORM BUILDING, literally makes my heart skip beats.

This was a really nice surprise! I'm really excited to see the documentary because I never got a chance to see the musical. :pinch: The trailer made me feel like I was watching the show right from where I was sitting. Loving all of these Green Day goodies. :D

Oh...another documentary I want to see but will have to wait till 2027 I guess...wait when is HLAHG coming out first lol? Yeah...won't be getting too excited any time soon. Even Cuatro which I figured was a sure thing is starting to feel a bit like it's never gonna happen...HLAHG part 2. If it does show up at my door sometime before 2014 I will be seriously suprised. So unless this airs on tv (and it most likely won't in Europe) im not getting excited but I would love to see St Billie as I saw the touring cast...no St Billie.

He is almost 41 years old. It's not possible for him to look always like 25 years old.

How awesome (and unlikely) would it be if they released this as a DVD and include a bonus disc with the Musical in it. :woot:

I just want to be able to see it somehow :shy:

When Billie is talking about creating a dialogue while 21 Guns is playing, it looks like he is so moved by the performance that he is about to cry. I can't wait for this.
