Ashleycase
What would be even more awesome is a worldwide Pop Disaster Tour! yeah that would be great too
The Grohl
I am totally behind this pop disaster tour thing because I was too young to go the first time around and every time I see something about it, I'm just thinking dammit! Two of my favorite bands together?! That almost never happens!
joeysturkeyhead
me too! I want them to do a song or a cover like they did with U2 it would be so awesome You mean like doing a song together? Nah, I don't know about that, I'm not so sure they would fit that good together.

Nah, I don't know about that, I'm not so sure they would fit that good together. yes a song together well, why not? they kind of have the same style and I know they are very different, but I think it would be great if they mixed their talents to do a song. Plus, they know each other because of the Pop Disaster Tour so it's not like if they were strangers

Hermione
Didn't Green Day show up how bad a live band Blink 182 is every night of the Pop Disaster tour because they're so much better though? And Green Day is even better live now. It would be embarrassing for Blink to be on equal billing with such a vastly superior band
Nemo.
I don't like the song "Lazy Bones". I skip it almost everytime I listen to Dos.
Ashleycase
I just don't know if Mark's/Tom's voice would fit together with Billie's. Tom definetly not, but Mark's voice is quite classical, so I think it would.
Guest
I couldn't imagine Blink & Green Day doing a song/tour together, they're far too different now. I don't think they would sound good together, mostly because GD are actually good live performers where as Blink... Aren't. Back then, sure, I get it but now? GD have grown up & Blink are still stuck in their teens. I think it'd be embarrassing to see GD show them up every time. Sorry if that offends any Blink fans, they're a decent band but they don't hold a candle to GD.
Guest
Brutal Love is good, but it's not as good as most people on here say it is. Yes, Billie can sing now. Big deal. There's plenty better singers out there who didn't need voice coaching to do better than that.

What matters is how fucking awesome it would be for both of them to tour together again.
Eva
There you go! Thanks! The vocals on it are a bit....eh. But overall, I like it! I still can't believe I hadn't heard of it before.

The performance would have been much more impressive if Jason remembered any lyrics apart from "ROCK the casbah. ROCK the casbah."
musso_kn
Billie's voice now is extremely feminine...both when he sings and when he talks. I'm fine with it, but it's odd.

Brutal Love is good, but it's not as good as most people on here say it is. Yes, Billie can sing now. Big deal. Guest
MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. Haha, I responded to someone saying something similar in this thread with exactly that line But yeah, it's some good singing. But that's it. We're just used to standard Billie Joe vocals. Just because he can change it up a little doesn't mean he's suddenly the best singer out there.

He's getting better now but 2-3 years ago it was painful to listen to Blink live!
J&TheNight
Ew Blink is actually something we're discussing? XD Ah, I've never enjoyed them. Not now, not then. If they toured with Green Day now I'd be very disappointed, the mash up would be awful. Also, what's this about billies singing? I think Billie is a fine singer. He's not some amazing example of perfect classical singing, but that's where I enjoy him at. Too many current groups focus so hard on having an amazing singer, then get stuck with shitty lyrics and music.

I'm just saying that Brutal Love is incredibly overrated by a lot of people on here. There're many better singers out there with good music and good lyrics. You don't say?! Seriously, who goes from deep voice (not really deep, but y'know) to really feminine? It should go the other way, I guess... iltrenta
Actually Billie Joe is a better singer than most people realize, but that's simply because Green Day's songs of course aren't aimed at showing his vocal abilities (or in general playing skills of the members of the band, hence the lack of solos in the majority of their songs). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tSY4bUBbIVQ

I'M NOT SAYING HE'S NOT GOOD GODDAMMIT I'm just saying that people think that Brutal Love is a vocal masterpiece when in fact it's decent but he's had quite a bit of training to get him that far. Hey I got that, you already said it a couple of posts ago. I just said he's better than more people think he is and you just said that vocals on Brutal Love are overrated. Anyway the AI musical clearly helped him to improve his vocal skills.
