GenesisJames
1. I don't worship Dookie or find it particuarily awe-inspiring. 2. 21st Century Breakdown is my second favorite album, losing to American Idiot. 3. I actually like Rest and Christian's Inferno. 4. I don't whine about Green Day's style change (both appearence and music-wise.). 5. Insomniac is my least favorite album. 6. I don't think Nightlife is that bad. 7. I actually like Warning (seriously, why did everyone hate that album?). 8. Are We The Waiting is my favorite GD song. 9. I don't see why everyone needs songs to be Dookie-fied. 10. Shenanigans is terribly underrated. 11. Al Sobrante seemed like a pretty cool dude (but Tre's much better. ). 12. I actually liked the trilogy, but ¡Uno! was the weakest of it, in my opinion. 13. Kill The DJ's my favorite song off of ¡Uno!. 14. Walk Away is my favorite song off of ¡Tre!. 15. I truly don't give a shit of what other people think of my opinions. Damn, I'm gonna get sooooo much hate for these.

chipmunk_tubetops
Poprocks and Coke is one of their Top 10 songs. Having The Forgotten on the Twilight soundtrack was a good idea.
maul_day
¡Tré! is my least favorite Green Day album. I do not like X-Kid that much. Fuck time is not funny. A killer song, but not funny at all. I actually enjoyed 21st Century Breakdown since the first day it was out. I'll be happy when Billie Joe finally put the guyliner thing aside. Shenanigans is one of my favorite albums. I felt ashamed to see my favorite band on Twilight (Not so unpopular opinion thought) Most of the times, I skip 21 Guns, Boulevard of Broken Dreams and Good Riddance (Time of Your Life) and i think the former should not be the last song to be played anymore. I hate you for not loving Jason White as much as the other guys.
Akshat
Jason White should not be an official member of Green Day.He definately means a lot to the band but I always want to see Green Day as a three-piece band.
Gregorovich
Billie Joe swears far too much (in the trilogy at least). It loses its effect if it's used every second line.
Hermione
I have had sex to "Blood Sex and Booze." And I don't care if people think it's a bad song and not sexy. It's sexy. The end. Damn straight! Jason White should not be an official member of Green Day.He definately means a lot to the band but I always want to see Green Day as a three-piece band. It's lucky that "official" and "unofficial" are just terms made up by fans and that there's zero evidence to suggest Jason or the band could care less what he's labeled as then! Just because Billie said in some interview that Jason is 'like' an official member, people started to admire it.If he was the member than why is he not in the Kill the DJ video amoung the recent ones and just has a 'cameo' in the Oh Love one?Green Day's facebook, twitter, myspace or website have no mentions as him the official member. There is only BJ, Mike and Tre. Insomniac1984
I don't disagree the idea of having clean versions of Green Day in Southamerica, however it was awful that just until these days the explicit edition of ¡DOS! is being released here. joeysturkeyhead
green day don't have the attitude of punks. somebody who appears in "the voice" is far from being punk. doesn't mean they don't have some ideals left.... however the music until nimrod (including that album) was clearly punk. if you say it wasn't, then you deny the bands i listed were punk. just because everyone thought music has to be hardcore to be punk, that doesn't mean it is true. if somebody would make the same sort of music chuck berry did, it would be still rock'n'roll. and if green day had this old british punk sound in the 90s (of course something was different, they had their own modern sound) it is still called punk. you can't just say the sound of one time was that genre and when a band plays a similiar sound it suddenly isn't the same genre anymore? Why the fuck is it un-punk to appear in the voice? To do what the hell you want whether or not other people consider it punk, that's punk. Billie did it as a fun thing, if he'd refused to do it because it's considered un-punk then he's definitely not punk. Being punk is about doing what the hell you want. Guest
In my experience, if someone says "man, that was such a punk thing to do", it probably wasn't punk.
musso_kn
Right. My iPod classifies Green Day as punk. That settles that, then But seriously, I wish the people constantly trying to 'define punk' would realise they're arguing over something so subjective exactly like a bunch of self absorbed, irritating snobbish fucking English literature students. No offence intended to any eng lit students on here.
FatVince
To define punk is certainly the least punk thing in the world.

DTH
you are ridiculous. so if someone says someone isn't punk because of his actions then he is punk? oh god. i don't care for the fucking label "punk" but don't use punk to defend clearly commercial and questionable moves of your hero. i am far from being punk but i am still against the way castings produce artists products. everybody who cares for passionate, honest and credible music should feel the same way about it. castings are the way to produce something for a "market" which is deeply analyzed by people who just care for one thing: money. fuck punk, just use your fucking mind to decide if thats right or wrong.... I hate labels. There is actually no one who is completely punk and hipster is an even more fucked up version of it. you definetly have no idea what you are talking about. punks and hipster in one sentence?? punk is something which fought the eletary thinking which is present in hipstertismn (is that a word? i don't care).... Guest RedStrokes
I take back opinion on nightlife, I'm getting used to it, I like it now Billie's voice is sexy on it. Now where was I...... Oh yes unpopular opinions: 1. rusty James and sweet 16 aren't all that good 2. I LOVE lady cobra and Amy 3. Drama queen is deep, beautiful song, not about a woman's period. And I love it 4. I would be so happy if green day and lana del Rey did a duet
