Mar
Billie's laugh in Fuck Time is just so creepy. And I might be the only one to think that, for real. If you want to hear a creepy laugh, play Christian's Inferno on Rock Band, but don't play any of the instruments during the laugh; just let the only sound be Billie's vocals. It's the greatest and worst thing on earth.

Akshat
Has anyone else noticed that long pause in missing you in the line 'remember.........whats the first time'? Is that intentional?I really like Missing you but I don't understand that pause.

I don't think it "means anything" but it's just how they wanted that bit of the lyrics/music/rhythm of the song to go so it sounds good/cool/interesting. tapticka
Okay guys, Im not blaming anyone for their opinion, I also have one. You dont have to agree with it, okay? Guys, I think the trilogy is back in the punk years. Like not really punk, but it really doesnt sound like 21stCB or AI. We all know Green Day have changed. But, we all change. Green Day are humans and so are we. We all grow up, they grew up. If they would play the garage punk as Dookie or Insomniac, we will all get bored, trust me. This is just my opinion, you dont have to fucking agree with it. Just please dont hate on me. Like it is something really fucking exiting for Billie Joe /Mike, tre and Jason also/ because yknow rehab happened and shit. I think every song GD makes is awesome. End of story. ! GUYS SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH !
dersulbob
to me the last two shows were kind of practices for the Emirates where they'll play it again. i think they'll come back at the regular setlist next week after the Emirates. I hope this doesn't turn out to be true. I love Dookie but I imagine I'll be slightly disappointed if they spend pretty much half the show at Emirates playing it. There are other major Green Day albums with important birthdays coming up too! Also, out of 37 new songs released, how many have they played during this tour? 10? Maybe I'm being overly picky, I don't know, but I'd much prefer to see some songs from a variety of albums than all the songs from one album, even if that album is Dookie. The Grouch is Tracy
I just can't help but love all of their music. I think Green Day are amazing in everything they do. I find glory in every album in a different way, I get different feelings from every album I listen to. I literally only hate one song: Nightlife. Even if the trilogy kind of scares me because we all know the music is coming from a darker part of Billie than we are used to, I still find glory in it, along with the rest of their work. Not so unpopular!
Berkeley
I don't like the fact that Green Day probably will continue playing Dookie in its entirety every night on this leg of the tour. I really hope they drop 75% of Dookie again and put some newer songs, Wake Me Up When September Ends and more from 21CB into the set. I simplay prefer their stuff from 2004 to now. Z J
Another opinion I have is that the trilogy would have been better off being one really good album. An album with 13 or 14 songs. I'm going to write what 13 songs I would've put on the single album. Nuclear Family Let Yourself Go (Single) Carpe Diem Rusty James Lazy Bones Stray Heart (Single) Wow! That's Loud Amy (Single) Brutal Love (Single) 8th Avenue Serenade Amanda 99 Revolutions Dirty Rotten Bastards Bonus CD Stay the Night (Live) Stop When the Red Lights Flash (Live) X-Kid (Live) The singles are the ones I believe would be the most radio friendly or at least garner some positive attention. To me, those songs would be really popular if BJA hadn't melted down. Only reason for the live ones is because those songs are 100x better live. I'm assuming there are other opinions out there... so come on....tell me I'm an idiot
Tubbie Head
I HATE the chorus of Sex Drugs and Violence............. Come on- I can sing along at the top of my lungs to every other GD song while I drive, But really... This makes me cringe, roll up my windows, or just skip the whole song. This, very much! I really don't know what was on Billie's mind... That song sounds like it was written by a frustrated high school kid or something.
Cob
This, very much! I really don't know what was on Billie's mind... That song sounds like it was written by a frustrated high school kid or something. That's the idea?
Tubbie Head
That's the idea? Probably! but doesn't really sound good. Billie has the ability to take younger drama into his songs without making the songs sound stupid like he did with this one, in my opinion. musso_kn
i don't even like that song. one of the worst of the trilogy along with Nightlife and Baby Eyes imo (see i don't really like Dos ) It's an embarrassing number and it is THE sound of a rampant 40 year old man having a mid life crisis. Plus, unlike their previous work (ie Longview and Blood, sex and booze) it isn't even funny.
