Hot Topic is better than that douchebag. That fucker is just trying way too hard.
Cath
The album(s) isnt a story... a meant a concept not exactly a story There is no story, but the three albums are a concept. A lot of the themes are constant between all 3 albums and inside each individual one. I hope that makes sense. yes that makes sense but i still think they could have find something more original than numbers to name the albums

Eva
avoid Jesus of Suburbia if you can I've seen the JOS one. When I was younger, I though it was the shit. Now that I know things about actual punk culture, I think it is shit. WMUWSE is still the winner of "Worst Green Day Music Video" to me, though. Cob
Worst of all, why the fuck was Jesus's mom drunk at a party he was at? I mean... that just doesn't happen! That type of stuff only happens in sitcoms. a meant a concept not exactly a story yes that makes sense but i still think they could have find something more original than numbers to name the albums I don't know. When they announced the project I was grinning like a mother fucker because Uno Dos Tre is pretty clever.

Cath
The irony is real when I say that the worst Green Day music video in my opinion is The Forgotten there i need to agree. i can stand that the song's played in twilight but don't put scenes from the movie in the video for Grohl's sake. and beside that there's Billie playing piano while chewing gum. wow. Cob
Best music video in my opinion is either Basket Case or Walking Contradiction. Basket Case because it's iconic. Walking Contradiction because it's fucking hilarious.
Hermione
Two Green Day videos one million times worse than The Forgotten:- Jesus Of Suburbia- Wake Me Up When September Ends i hope the next DVD or any other stuff related to the trilogy won't get the name cinco. that'd be pushed to far imo and those names are ridiculous. Green Day is able to choose better albums names we've seen it in the past and i don't even see the link between uno dos tre quatro and the albums story? if someone can explain me.. Fun albums, fun names

Flyingdonutz
Why is is a discussion if Green Day will be inducted? They inducted Guns n' Roses, and they are, without a doubt, the best punk band of all time. And I'll explain that statement. The most punk thing any other band has done that I can recall would be the Sex Pistols calling the RRHOF a piss stain, or something like that. Billie Joe has played nude live, drop kicked someone in the audience, and that iHeartRadio thing, lol. They've sold over 75 million records, FAR more than any other band in their genre, and one of the most of all time. Billie is a better singer than anyone in Punk Rock has ever been. People say Green Day aren't punk because of songs like Good Riddance, but those people don't know what punk is. Not sure how much of an unpopular opinion it is, but I think Green Day are far better musicians than any punk band has ever been. They were ripped all over California for signing with Reprise, but that just opened up Punk music to the masses. They also completely changed the airwaves with American Idiot. So, to sum up, Green Day are the best punk band of all time because: They've done countless things that would undoubtedly be classified as punk. If my calculations are correct, they've released the 4 best selling punk albums of all time, in Dookie (20million) American Idiot (15million) Nimrod & Insomniac (10million) They changed punk in a way the Ramones and the Clash didnt, they opened punk up to the public. While the Ramones and the Clash had a massive following, they didn't release anything as popular as Green Day have, and while that could be why they are MORE punk than Green Day, to some, I think its just an excuse as to why they weren't nearly as successful. Not sure if this is an unpopular opinion.. but I guess I'll find out.

Hermione
The Forgotten's not really bad, the Green Day clips are cool enough and there's nothing really awful or cringeworthy about any of the Twilight clips. Nothing to particularly love or hate about it.
Cath
Twilight scenes were in because it was the single for the soundtrack yes i know. still it sucks. i think Nice Guys Finish Last video is pretty great and fun and Warning is one of my favorite
Hermione
21st Century Breakdown is my favourite video. And Longview, Warning and Nice Guys Finish Last are up there too.Possibly unpopular: I don't like the Brain Stew video much. I cringe at the old woman lip syncing and that horse, pretentious nonsense. Should've left that out and just stuck with clips of them at the dump. And I hate the 21 Guns video, Billie's lip curling looks so fake and so do the actors, there's no emotion in it and it's dull. That is indeed the most unpopular opinion someone could share.Nah, I think it's "love it or hate it" with them. Lots of people love them but lots of people despise them too. Especially WMUWSE, I'd hazard a guess that more people on GDC dislike it than like it.

Not sure if this is an unpopular opinion.. but I guess I'll find out. I am going to tackle this one point at a time. First of all, the fact that Billie Joe is not afraid to take his pants off in front millions of people has nothing to do with the band's status of punk rock. It's not even related to what punk rock is, unless you count that as taking down stereotypes and smashing the system. If you do, other bands have done a lot more than he has. Second, there have been a ton of great punk rock singers. Joe Strummer, for example, was fuckin' great. He just didn't "show it off" because it didn't fit in with the kind of music The Clash was playing. He brings out his spectacular voice on a couple of songs though, and they're fantastic. As for, "they changed punk in a way The Ramones and The Clash didn't"..................................................no. The Ramones and The Clash invented punk rock. They didn't change punk rock because they created it. Green Day's a fantastic band, but you can't argue that they've done more for the punk scene than The Ramones, for Christ's Sake. There has never been one definite answer as to which band is the father of punk rock, but it is always narrowed down to two: The Ramones or The Sex Pistols. The Ramones did more for punk rock than Green Day will ever do because they helped created it. They were the fathers of punk. Green Day, however fantastic they are, were not the fathers of punk. I don't mean to stomp all over your opinions, but Green Day's state of punk has nothing to do with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. They are a great band. They're going to get in eventually. How punk rock they are has nothing to do with it.
