The Forgotten
My favorite The Network song BY FAR is Supermodel Robots. It was the fucking theme song to my summer of 2011
Cath
my favorite is Right Hand A Rama too because it's catchy as hell
Asa.
Well personally I think Mike should've gotten a whole verse or longer of SD&V but I guess those 10 seconds are pretty awesome.
MaraGreenDay
My favorites are Roshambo and Spike. I like The Network but i really don't care if they make another album or not.
Eva
@all the Mike posts: I don't know if he "can sing" or not and frankly I don't care. My point was that he has the voice for a punk sound, which as previously stated, doesn't necessarily have to be "good." I do prefer Billie based on his stage presence and what the hell Mike isn't much of a looker but I would love to know what that man could do as the lead singer of some of the darker songs. Also also I wish Homecoming had a video like JoS. Definitely felt that song way harder. Aaaaand apart from that song, I hate when Tre sings. Skip that shit every time. I'm gay as hell and I still think Mike Dirnt is attractive. (Also, someone's looks are not related at all to their capability of being a lead singer.) I agree with Homecoming. Fantastic song. As for the last bit, none of the songs (minus Homecoming) that Tre has sung are supposed to be serious. They're all about sex or masturbation or something along those lines. I think he would be able to pull off a folk punk band with no problem.
WhiteTim
i don't care for the network either. i like right hand o rama and roshambo and that's about it i think governator is pretty terrible too. the hey hey hey hey!'s are so fucking irritating. I like Governator lyric wise but the music for some reason i dont like a bit and so it takes it down to me
Z J
What have you done lately? Can't blame the man for trying; and by the way, playing the guitar AND singing takes talent. It's fuck hard (at least from my experience). Alright people are getting angry at me haha. He is the best (or one of the best) bass players in the world. Him and Billie Joe have great chemistry/harmonies and he is a very good back-up singer. Guess I found an unpopular opinion. Don't take it so personally guys Yeah I don't see your point at all. That sounds great to me. ah well we'll just have to agree to disagree. Personal preference is all I suppose
Ritz
Mike's voice is pretty badass. But yeah, haters gonna hate.

Marko Knezevik
I don't say that I don't like "the new" Green Day, but I really miss their old music videos like "Walking Contradiction" or "Brain Stew/Jaded"...

silvi@
Oh well....Going to Pasalaqua is one of the best song EVER. But it's very difficoult choose what is the best song or the best album....u know, Dookie or Kerplunk or Nimrod or 21CB are been written in a different period of their life, and for this reason I appreciate their process of maturation during this 20 years of music.... About Uno,Dos,Tre, well....I don't know what can I say....u know, I think that this three albums, are like a gift for our fans, 'cause their are absolutely FAR AWAY from their genre...in fact, during the concert in Rome (I WAS THERE *-*, FUCKING AWESOME!) Green Day have played almost the old songs only ...
Mar
Wow! That's Loud is probably my favorite song off of the trilogy and one of my favorite songs they have ever written but I think it would be so much better if it was only like 2 minutes long. The extra noise gets old after a while. Hell, if they used that time to do a couple more verses even..I still adore the song, but I think a 2 minute Wow! That's Loud would have been better. Agreed. It legitimately hurts my ears to listen to that song for this reason. Now, get off my lawn, you young little bastards and your loud music! Agreed. It also has the best and most memorable ending of any Green Day song. It's the perfect climax to such a rock opera. I still get chills at "I started fucking running as soon as my feet touched ground." Something about the way he sings that line is just so snarly yet so poignant. Plus, I adore Rock 'n' roll girlfriend. But then I'm a sucker for sax.

Of course being attractive has nothing to with how you perform musically but let's not kid ourselves. Fugly lead singers make for far less popular bands. In terms of concerts and shit. I know how that sounds, but let's be real. Not that it's a huge deal or anything, that's why I crossed it out! Haha, obviously they aren't serious! I meant that I don't find them funny or entertaining. They are just kind of stupid and boring to me. I too feel like he could do better.

musso_kn
Going to Pasalaqua is a damn fine song, but it is not the best on 1039 smoothed out slappy hours or 39/smooth. That award goes to Green Day.
