US rescheduled tour dates, Ticketmaster cancellation claims, and messages from venues

I guess Best Coast is ok for this since they don't sound like they have too much of an exciting, get-on-your-feet style. I love AFI, but it was terrible when they opened for GD because no one gave a shit about them and refused to dance or sing along or anything!

This happened to My Chemical Romance when they opened for Blink 182 two summers ago. Of course I was more psyched for Blink, but I love MCR too, and I was trying to get into their performance, but the crowd's complete lack of giving a fuck ruined it for me, and I eventually ended up just sitting down.

I would just ignore the crowd to be honest. I wouldn't let a lame crowd ruin a good time for me.

I noticed the same thing when I saw My Chemical Romance and Blink 182 in Milwaukee in 2011. The crowd perked up when MCR started playing some of their older songs. True, I also noticed several people left after MCR finished.

I was at the Blink/MCR/Matt&Kim show in Charlotte, NC. I think they all rocked.!!

For that concert, I didn't pay attention to the crowd. Obviously they were just as enthused as I was. Flippin' amazing night, MCR rocked, Blink rocked, and Matt & Kim are awesome!

I think it's possible. It's probably what they're planning for all the dates they canceled.

I'm sure there's going to be at least one more leg, they've always done more than one. I'm guessing it'll be in the fall/winter or spring next year.

I'm going to Chicago thank god, but i've been wanting to see them since the Pop Disaster tour, in 05 i was borderline "old enough" to go to shows and whatnot but they haven't been back since. I'd wanted to see Blink since 99 and I always thought I'd see green day first because blink had the haitus but they've come twice since.

There will definitely be a second leg and probably a long one. I mean this "first leg" is only 11 dates. They're not going to leave Minnesota and every state further west out of the mix.

Oh, well that's good at least! Yeah, I realize now how lucky I am to live in NY... they usually do a show in upstate area where I live, then one in NYC and a few in PA, CT, and NJ, all of which are within 5 hours of me. I would hate it if they never came through for years on end while touring the rest of the country :/

That's living in Indiana for ya. Used to be all tours came here, great music scene. Now bands like mine are struggling trying to fix the music scene and no tours come here. At least Blink always does but they're one of the only big (rock?) bands that do.

I know what you mean. Most bands do seem to skip over here. About the only musicians that seem to come here are country artists... Our music scene used to be better, you're right.

Did anyone have any problems with Ticketmaster not notifying them of concert cancellations? Some guy is over on the GD facebook page being an asshole saying that he almost drove to a venue for a cancelled concert and acting all butthurt, and I'm aggravated and want to know if anyone else had this alleged problem.

he probably just didnt pay attention... check his email/bank account. You'd think billie being in rehab would be a red flag to double check on things.

I'm pretty sure he got an email. Ticketmaster emailed me twice making sure that I got their emails. So, without a doubt, he got one.

He overlooked it obviously. I don't know how you could miss something like that. lol.
