Wow, fucking really?

I don't think I'm ever gonna bother trying to go to a concert of theirs again. Ths isn't worth it.

Awesome news for those who have rescheduled shows! Sorry for those who had their show cancelled. I'm sure the band will make up for it later. First post updated (probably) for the last time. It's been an eventful week since the IC posted that message, but it's had a great turnout :)

anyone got a spare ticket to the Philly show? Please?

Yeah I do actually. It's not GA though it's for an actual seat.

Wait, what the fuck, why is it saying that my show is both cancelled AND rescheduled? Somene needs to get their shit together.

shit I understand .. :/ you can't ask your family or friends to help you with the money until they refund you?

And what it means to have your ticket honored?

I may be able to convince someone as an early bday gift, but other then that, I gotta wait on my refund. :/

Which venue are you? Ticketmaster hasn't been fully updated with the new dates, I'd take the now-confirmed MTV/Billboard presser as gospel. The confirmed new dates are:

Green Day's new 2013 dates:

» 3/28 - Chicago, IL @ Allstate Arena

» 3/29 - Moline, IL @ I Wireless Center

» 3/31 - Pittsburgh, PA @ Consol Energy Center

» 4/1 - Rochester, NY @ Blue Cross Arena

» 4/3 - Philadelphia, PA @ Liacourias Center

» 4/4 - Fairfax, VA @ Patriot Center

» 4/6 - Uncasville, CT @ Mohegan Sun Arena

» 4/7 - Brooklyn, NY @ Barclays Center

» 4/9 - Providence, RI @ Dunkin Donuts Center

» 4/11 - Toronto, ON @ Air Canada Centre

» 4/12 - Quebec City, QC @ Quebec Colisee

Oh, see, they just said "Mohegan Sun Arena" without the location.

So my concert is cancelled completely. Refer to previous post.

I will wait until more dates are announced in the hopes that Montreal will be somehow added to the list (The main concert venue isn't busy in April). If not, well it's a road trip for me. Thankfully it is on a Friday night so I can just drive down after school, watch the show. Stay the night at the hotel and leave the next morning

For the dates, will ticketmaster be updated soon? I would like to know how to get tickets for the Toronto show.

RAH, only two shows. But, i could use the refund money too.

however- seriously considering Rochester NY or Fairfax VA.

Also Philly or NYC if tickets become available (floors of course.)

(anybody who has to give any of the above up, contact me. :) )

I understand they will come back, but I don't think they will ever be able to make up for this disappointment I feel right now. 4, almost 5 months I have been fucking waiting and scrounging my ass off for tickets. And yeah, before you start to bitch at me, I am 100% glad he went to rehab and we can all say we're proud of him for that. But I am still even more dissapointed at how this whole situation was. They had announced that all the dates would be rescheduled. And shortly. Almost 3 months later and the announcement we get is that more than half the tour has been cancelled, including the only shows that are even close to my area. Yeah, I bet they'll be back. But it also wouldn't surprise me if they didn't come back here until almost a year from now. This just sucks. I am completely beyond just being dissapointed.

I can certainly understand the disappointment, I mean, shit, I was looking forward to seeing them in Vegas and now that's kaput. But some perspective, please? As far as any of us are concerned, the cancellation of a concert isn't (and shouldn't be) a life or death matter.

They're coming back around? That's a good one. They won'tbe anywhere close to me so I won't be able to go. I'm just not bothering anymore.

So, I was trying to look on the bright side, and talk to ticketfailure to see what they can do, and the guy basically disconnected on me after telling me there was nothing that he could do, he was also COMPLETELY wrong about what he was talking about.

Saying that the CT show doesn't have a date yet, and that the tix aren't on sale yet, when on the site it clearly says that they are.

fuck you ticketmaster, fuck you.

Anyways, I'm glad they're back
