I just bought Rochester tickets. GA seats are available again for that show. Here's hoping that it gets rescheduled and not canceled like the other show I bought tickets to. :)

I just emailed the General Manager for the Liacouras Center in Philly asking if she had any information about the band rescheduling. Eh, it won't hurt. I'm hoping if a bunch of us email venues we may actually get some valuable information out of it.

Since the venue says postponed you will still have the same tickets you bought.

It's just aggravating that the Idiot Club posted that US dates were coming SOON, they get everyone all damn hyped up about it, and then they take the post down, and we get emails saying that some of our shows are cancelled. I don't know why Idiot Club has been playing with our hearts, but I do know that I will never pay $20 again until they can be more accurate. Same thing with the guitar pics. I emailed them, and they said that it will be coming SOON. As for the tour, I'm really glad that Billie decided to do something for his health, and I'm glad that he's doing better, so soon. Green Day postponing the shows for Billie is not the problem here. It's the Idiot Club basically saying that the dates are gonna be here soon, and then they aren't. It's so damn confusing, and so stressful, because for one, if they announce a new date, supposedly soon, then I probably won't have my money refunded by then, and it's such a pain in the ass trying to get good Green Day seats. My seats were perfect at the NH show.

...I'm so bummed! and pissed at the IC.

EXACTLY the problem. This current issue isn't about the band itself, but about IC yanking our collective chains.

what the hell is going on in this thread.

thread title needs an update or something man.

Emailed the GM of the Wolstein center for the Cleveland show and got this back

Hi Zach. Right now we are looking at a new date the last week of march or

first week in April.

I'm not sure if they are being disorganized. I'm sure it's hard to plan a

rescheduled tour when you aren't sure when your singer is going to be

healthy enough to tour. I'm sure they are frustrated too.

As soon as we lock in the date we will tell the media and put it on our

website. Hang in there. Should be a great show!

Scott Warren

General Manager

Wolstein Center

Pretty awesome if you ask me!

BLESS YOU :) I'm so glad they responded to you, especially since they're not a Ticketmaster venue ... not seeing Ticketmaster mess with the status of the show was both a blessing and a curse. And it gives us a decent timeline. Easter is March 31 ... I guess we'd have a REALLY Drunk Bunny

I think, sadly, another thing to keep in mind is that maybe these shows are being canceled because of poor attendance, also related to venue choices. There were just way too many shows in New England and I'm wondering if they decided to cut their losses with some of them. Same with Madison ... you've got Green Bay, Moline and Chicago within a couple hours of Madison, too. I remember they had this problem with American Idol's 2010 tour ... they booked smaller shows in places like my city and as a result, no one went to shows in traditionally bigger markets like Cleveland. As I've said before, I don't mean to sound like a know-it-all, because I don't know jack shit, but it's plausible. Let's be realistic ... there's no way Green Day, at its current popularity level, is selling out these big venues.

That's interesting. It's disconcerting also to hear that there were still GA tix available in many venues.

I don't think those tickets were still available, I think some of them are new. I could be wrong, but I feel like I remember Rochester's GA tickets being sold out at one point.

At this point, I can honestly say I don't know which would be worse: To just have had my concert canceled right off the bat and put me out of my misery, like the 2012 dates, or the drawn out shit we're dealing with right now not knowing what the hell's going on... all the anxiety of wondering if I'm going to get the "oh, your concert's canceled" email too (so sorry for you guys :(), whether my new job will conflict with the date they choose, IC teasing us with faux updates, etc. I've never seen them live, I've convinced myself I'll never actually see them live, so God, at this point anything actually working out is going to be a pleasant surprise, not an expectation.

I just can't believe we haven't had some sort of official update on social media. I think it's very poor from a public relations standpoint to not send out some brief, three sentence or so update, just simply summarizing, "Some dates couldn't be rescheduled, some of you may be getting emails about canceled dates, we apologize, etc." Be as vague as you want, but at least let us know the information we're receiving from third parties is accurate. To expect fans to figure this all out on our own, get heart-crushing updates about cancellations from random places, and still buy CDs/merch/tickets to future shows is very bold. Yes, us here on GDC are diehard fans... but not everyone going to a concert is, y'know? This is incredibly frustrating. I mean, take as long as you want, as long as you keep us in the loop. But saying absolutely nothing as information about cancellations and refunds is coming in from places like Ticketmaster is shitty.

Let me know what they say please? I hope it will be a rescheduled date... I'm moving to Philly January 28, so I don't have tickets or anything yet!

Providence show-goers,

Where are you planning on staying in Providence? And how are you going to get there from where you are?

I get that it's frustrating but I honestly don't think they intended for people to find out this way. Seems like they planned to release all the info once it was all sorted out, but in the middle of that ticket master start sending out their emails. They obviously didn't bank on that. I see it more a case of accidental leaking of new dates/cancelled dates than simply not planning it through enough.

From the sounds of it, this sounds like it's still a work in progress and some venues and ticket providers have jumped ahead and begun dishing out new information before it's all been finalised. I'm sure just sitting tight and waiting for the tour to be reorganised will bring with it all the news you will need to know.

Although I do feel for you guys struggling to understand if your show is cancelled or not.

Crossing my fingers and toes that either the Rochester or Toronto show will be rescheduled to sometime during the Easter long weekend so I can potentially go if I can get my hands on a ticket. :P

NO. Then I'll be in New York and won't be able to attend Toronto or Quebec. D:

Providence show-goers,

Where are you planning on staying in Providence? And how are you going to get there from where you are?

You can discuss the show here:

I live on the Cape, so it only takes an hour or two to get there.

I'm just going to drive up with my father and then drive back down.

I was camping up in NH when Green Day was in MA, so I drove down and back up again in one night.

This should be a piece of cake.

(I'm sorry, I know this is no help at all :sorry: )

No, it hasn't yet. For some reason LiveNation's website shows that, but neither Ticketmaster nor the i wireless center website show that. They just show that it is postponed still.

That's all I've seen so far. Strangely enough, the Fairfax show still shows active on the Ticketmaster site, on the original date. It's also on the Patriot Center's Facebook page, but I can't get the Patriot Center's website to load.

Now now, let's not be dramatic, of COURSE you will see them live some day! You're 21, they're gonna be performing all over the world including wherever you happen to be for years and years to come. Most of us have many years of Green Day ahead of us :D
