US rescheduled tour dates, Ticketmaster cancellation claims, and messages from venues

On the Verizon Wireless Arena website for NH it still lists the show as postponed, not cancelled. I'm SO CONFUSED

Yeah, I know. Which is why I'm confused. That's also why I e-mailed the venue. They usually reply within 24 hours. *fingers crossed*

Sadly it's defiantly canceled. I got an email from Ticketmaster this morning saying it was officially canceled and it gave me a refund on the tickets

I got the email too for the same show, but I guess I just find it weird that only a couple of shows were canceled. Like, are the shows with new seats available meant to make up for it? And if so, WHY AREN'T WE BEING TOLD?

they probably just didn't update it yet on their website or something. It's canceled on ticketmaster and they emailed telling me to get my money in the refund

My guess is that only a couple shows are canceled because those few venues didn't have a slot for green day to play in for this whole 'march/april' tour so they just had to get rid of them. And maybe people got refunds for the RI show and that's how they opened up or something. I know when they went on sale they like almost sold out..

To be fair we still really aren't sure of everything that's going on yet. Calm down until we find out for sure about all the dates - it seems like they're missing a lot of your area and I assume they would add another show if they can.

Yeah I know, I'm kinda just iffy about this whole thing. We're basing all of this off of assumptions through ticketmaster. The band hasnt actually made any announcement as of yet, which annoys me.

I'd say get the tickets and if the show gets canceled you can just get a refund. Better be safe than sorry?

Considering that it takes 5 days to get our refunds, I don't have the money to just keep buying tickets to be better safe than sorry :/ It's seriously RIDICULOUS that no website has informed us of anything. We're finding out so much information on our own and all we need is an official word on what's happening. The only reason why I'm so angry is because of how much money I'm putting into this. Blehhghguhfgjknsdfd.

I'm just hoping (I know it's a slim chance) that when they tour again, they will announce new west coast dates in the smaller venues. I was so looking forward to the Salem show for various reasons, and was pretty dissappointed when it was flat out cancelled. I know Billie's health comes first and foremest, and I totally respect that and wish him the best. I know that Green Day will come back with a vengence, and I will be putty in their hands once more.

I feel like the venues, Ticketmaster, and the band are all trying to schedule things and move dates around but don't think we can see the changes being made or something. It is very, very odd. They shouldn't be announcing new dates on Ticketmaster before the band announces it.
