Guest
Brutal and yes! I was thinking Brutal, how the hell did I even type Broken? Ah well, haha. What the hell? Baby Eyes, Ashley and Wow! That's Loud are some of my favorite tracks off Dos. They shit all over any song on Tre. Imo, of course. And Uno remains as my least favorite album by Green Day. I still think Dos is a better album than Uno, because the songs that are good on it are really fucking good.

josh_oliday
Ok so my musical rating system is based on how Green Day something is. Green Day albums are always at least Green Day/Green Day. I've held off on rating the trilogy thus far, but now I can go ahead. Uno-Green Day. I love it, but Carpe Diem and Let Yourself Go are the worst songs in the trilogy (but still damn good mind you, just not as good as everything else). Dos-Green Day++. Love this album. I only bemoan the fact that it's too short and Baby Eyes and Lady Cobra needed to be longer. Tre-Green Day+++. Wow, these songs are so weighty. Every one is drenched in emotion, and the melodies and harmonies are amazing. Reflection on an epic scale. Seeing now where they came from with Nuclear Family, this album is fantastic. No, more than that, it's Green Day. For comparison: 1039SOSH- Green Day Kerplunk-Green Day Dookie-Green Day+ Insomniac-Green Day Nimrod-Green Day++ Warning-Green Day++ American Idiot-Green Day++++ 21st Century Breakdown-Green Day+++

TheGrouch33
Tre is really a very good album and I know its not really fair to compare it to American Idiot, but it makes you realise how fucking good American Idiot was and how hard it will be to top. Guest
The only difference between the Uno 'filler' and the Dos 'filler' is that Dos makes me run, jump, and scream the lyrics whereas Uno makes me reach for the skip button. I could maybe agree if Uno had great lyrics or something but it just doesn't. I'm going to keep saying it. They just sound like filler to me. And the lyrics are fucking awful. Playing spin the bottle? Bitch please. Bitch Imma knock you out. 99 IS shit, it's know your enemy 2.0. I can take it or leave it. I was more concerned about her saying Missing You is bad. That's the bit I highlighted, if you look You dont like Baby Eyes and Ashley?, I think you maybe spelled wrong. It's impossible dislike Baby Eyes and Ashley. Oh, it's very easy to dislike them. Blond-O-Sonic Shimmer Trap
Can't see how Missing You is even comparable to Amanda or Walk Away. It's definitely a superior song. I think they're all the same, unmemorable and been done by this band a thousand times before.

Kaddi.
Finally. When I had already lost all hope, there finally is a good album. They could have just taken 2 or 3 songs off Tre, add the very few good ones from Uno and Dos and we would have gotten one perfect album.

burnout409
Ok been listening to it since i arrived home and well, and i hate to say because it seems like everyone else loves it, but Dos just doesn't excite me like Uno and Tre do! Its just me personaly, but i feel like Dos for the most part lacked and kind of stand out song, it really felt like it was just one mash up of FBHT songs that just mingled into one almost mess, but Uno and Tre, each song can hold its own very well for the most part..... saying that i think Wow! that's Loud is a great song. But album against album Dos just doesn't quiet do it for me compared to Uno and Tre.

K-Lo green
Bitch Imma knock you out. 99 IS shit, it's know your enemy 2.0. I couldn't disagree more. I've never really hated it, but I skipped it all the time when playing through 21cb. there are only like 2 melodies and 2 chord progressions and a super simple solo section in KYE. I feel like the chord inversions and harmonies AND lyrics (and dynamics) give it a HUGE lead on KYE. It's also way catchier IMO. Tre is really a very good album and I know its not really fair to compare it to American Idiot, but it makes you realise how fucking good American Idiot was and how hard it will be to top. Yeah. Not trying to knock 21cb, uno, dos, or tre, but I think that they haven't yet made an album that can really top AI. Maybe individual tracks stick out, but no full, organic album has measured up. nofuckinsaint
Fuck Time Stop When The Red Lights Flash Lazy Bones Stray Heart Nightlife Amy Fuck time is fun but its far from a truly good song, SWTRLF, Lazy Bones and Amy are all great... NIGHTLIFE?? In what universe is Nightlife a great Green Day song? Lady Cobra needs to get her silly ass off the album artwork and gtfo of town! Nightlife, seriously. It's Green Day doing something different for once. I've heard enough garagey stuff of slamming chords together and writing lyrics about partying and drinking. We had the Foxboro Hot Tubs, and that was plenty for me. It's not Green Day.

Know Your Enemy is an awful single, but it works when you listen to 21stCB as a whole. I only realised that pretty recently. 99 Revolutions has a lot more single potential. It doesn't work quite as well with the album though. Feels a little like they're checking "Political Song" off the checklist for the album.
