Brutal Love is actually really good. I wasnt sure what to think of it on first listen. After another 2 listens I get it. Billies vocals on it are just brilliant.

I think Tre was the best put together/well made album of the Trilogy. They always save the best for last!

Well that depends of the person.. Its just my opinion

You argument is like saying "Noo dudeee, Bluee is better than Red"

That's silly, Red is clearly better :P

Billie's vocals are so good on this entire album. There's just no comparing this to anything he's done before.

I would have been perfectly happy if Green Day only put out Tre. There. I said it, I said it!

Agreed.

Now, if they'll release Dirty Rotten Bastards as a single...we'll all die happily.

Think about it, before the news of three albums, we probably wouldnt have gotten all these songs. We probably would have gotten the first 5 off of Uno and a couple more from each album.

Tenth listen through. My reviews now:

Brutal Love - 8.5/10 (Stays the same)

Missing You - 8/10 (Same)

8th Avenue Serenade - 9.5/10 (Same)

Drama Queen - 8/10 (Gone up)

X-Kid - 9.5/10 (Gone up)

Sex, Drugs and Violence - 7/10 (Gone up, but I still feel the chorus is bloody awkward to listen to)

Little Boy Named Train - 7.5/10 (Gone up)

Amanda - 9/10 (Gone up heaps. I love this song now. Relatable lyrics)

Walk Away - 8/10 (Same)

Dirty Rotten Bastards - 10/10 (Stayed the same. Simply amazing tune)

99 Revolutions - 8.5/10 (Same)

The Forgotten - 7.5/10 (Gone up)

Favourites: Dirty Rotten Bastards, X-Kid, 8th Avenue Serenade

Least: Sex, Drugs and Violence, Little Boy Named Train

I still find there's a minor decline in the middle but still a very great album, and gets better and better through more listens.

I just got home so I couldn't read the thread, and I can't really post all my thoughts as I haven't fully listened to the album yet, but I hope I'm not the only one who loves Sex, Drugs and Violence. It's so corny and catchy, I can't get it out of my head.

Really not a fan of SD&V or LBNT. They just seem so inconsequential to the album. Like Angel Blue and Loss of Control to Uno.

My second favorite on the album. :D
