.Holly
"old enough to bleed" is a line that really stuck with me. Is the character emotionally matured enough to self destruct or just entered puberty? Both scary things in life. I'm pulling this out of my ass.. Yeah the puberty thing, but I think it means old enough to feel the hurts and pain that come with becoming an adult. Like when you lose someone you love you feel like you're bleeding on the inside. That just doesn't happen when you're a kid.

perfectpitchrob
Walk Away - Well, this and Brutal Love are the two I've never heard anything from before. Starts out as a more mellow song but then kicks into gear with the rest of the instruments. I wonder if this was the same Walk Away as the one apparently recorded durring the Cig and Valentines sessions as it has a Warning meets the rock opera era sound to it. Dirty Rotten Bastards - Just putting this smiley her cause it looks like me as I'm listening to the song. Love the Warning era celtic punk sound of it in the beginning. And then it changes to that tune that billie was playing at the beginning of the second converse video. Then Mike leads us into a fast cowpunk section that was what Billie was strumming alone in the Quatro video. This song just keeps getting better and better! And then Mike absolutely SHREADS that bass, making the awesome part he did in Makeout Party seem like childs play. And Billie counters with an awesome solo, one of the best on the trillogy. Then lots of harmony which leads into a Weezer-esque reprise of the opening melody which I LOVE! Then the melody changes again to a Who esque "carried away" part that I'm already singing along to. Best song so far, and EASILY one of the top ones of their career. 99 Revolutions - Already know how it goes, but again, nice to have the full version of this nice punker. It works as penultimate song as if to say "now that the hangover's gone and past, and I've reflected on my past present and future, I'm looking at what's going on in the country and how I can fix it. Very reflective and optimistic." The Forgotten - And it all ends here. 37 songs later, after it all began in Nuclear Family, after boogying in Troublemaker, after the hedonisticly awesome party from hell, after loss, and after redemption, the trillogy ends with this reflective John Lennon-esque piano ballad, thats so good that I forget it was used in Twilight. Great way to end the trillogy, and makes me a little sad in a way that it's over. Overall - Brutal Love, X-Kid, Sex Drugs and Violence, Dirty Rotten Bastards and the Forgotten are the ones I like the most, but all of the songs on here are good, it's just those 5 that really caught my attention. This may be the best of the trillogy so far, it's as if Uno was a warmup that showed their classic sound, and Dos was an encore of the Foxboro Hot Tubs. This album is very mature sounding, and continues the maturity that Warning had with a renewed sense of energy, nostalgia and melody. In regards to the "uno dos tre playlists" topic on the forums. I will add all 37 songs to the playlist. They're all good in their own unique way, some much more so than others (two of the best ones are on this album in fact). But let me ask the question, would you rather have a 12 song album with 5 really good songs and 7 good songs, or a 37 song trillogy with half of the songs being some of the best they've ever done and the other half being a blast as well to listen to? Viewed together, this trillogy is a great collection, and now that it's all over, I can certainly say I enjoyed the ride!

iltrenta
Billie's vocals have really hit a whole new level in this album. It's the best I've ever heard him sing. Yeah I think it has something to do with his partecipation in the AI musical, maybe he took singing lessons or something

!
Listening to all three albums on random I can see why the band thought this was something special and released all 3 albums. I believe that releasing the trilogy in this short span of time was great. If they would've treated these as individual albums released over a period of time, most people would've been let down. Cob
Oh man I just want to jump up and down during Little Boy Named Train. Great song, I get so pumped with this song. Mikes Bass, that riff, the vocals, the lyrics, the drumming, it's all really good. I think it would have a bigger effect if we hadn't been punk jaded by Uno, but seriously this and Sex, Drugs and Violence are some kickass shit.
