XXXNoOneKnowsXXX
Wow. I think this is the best album of the trilogy. Musically, for the lyrics, for the overall solidity of the work. Because inside iTre! there are some really epic songs. Songs that if Warner will promote decent, but I don't think it will happen, could become musical monoliths, like many songs from American Idiot. I've only heard the album twice and I have to assimilate it at all, but I'm really happy. And not only for what I said earlier. I am very happy because the trilogy, with this last piece of the puzzle, take a wonderful profile. A fantastic job, with some of the most beautiful songs that Green Day have ever written. Listen iUno!, iDos! and iTre! one after the other without interruption. Personally I think is a unique musical experience, a high level musical experience. I think this is the best thing that Green Day could create at this point in their career. It's bad that a work that surely for them was extremely fun but also tiring, definitely will not be appreciated by the mass audience and by critics as other previous albums. But honestly I don't care that much. I think the trilogy remains a beautiful piece of music.Ffor me that I listen to Green Day since I was five years old, it was. Thank you Green Day. DecanoLP
Did you listen to the listen to the same album as everyone here? lolwut Sure, the first 4 tracks are terrible. Boring, the melodies are exchangeable... X-Kid is pretty good, SD & V is okay too, the next three tracks have the same problem as the first 4: Unimaginative, that's something any other band could have written. Dirty Rotten Bastards is cool, I love 99 Revolutions and The Forgotten is a boring piano ballad... Yeah, that's it in my opinion
Homero
Dirty Rotten Bastards is Green Day on another level... holy shit.

I can see where you're coming from on the others (though I don't agree) but Brutal Love is a very unique song. Anway, when I heard the bass solo in DRB followed by the guitar solo I was like
NotTrain
I've only heard a minute of X-Kid, and from what I can gather (But I'm probably wrong) it sounds like the song is being sung to a young guy or gal who still wants to be childish (Like an ex-kid) and Billie is basically saying grow up. Does anyone else agree?
iRun
DRB makes me wanna punch babies! IT'S SO GOOD! Lindsay
I think Brutal Love and Dirty Rotten Bastards are hands down the greatest songs in the trilogy, and possibly two of the greatest songs Green Day has ever written. I felt Tré was a lot better lyrically than Uno and Dos as well. I'm just so pleased with this album, this is exactly what I was hoping for when Billie said Tré was gonna be epic. Harry Potter.
Just got home from school. Downloading Tre. I have a guitar lesson is 20 minutes. I have a drum lesson in 1 and a half hour. I'm coming home in over 2 hours. I'll listen to Tre. I'll write what I think about it. For now, bye.
burnout409
Fucking Awesome album, only had one listen so far, the songs that stood out a little more than others so far for me: 'Missing You', 'X-Kid', 'Sex Drugs & Violence', 'Dirty Rotten Bastards' and '99 Revolutions', this could grow to be my favorite album of the trilogy! But its still to early to say! But i do think its better than DOS.
InvaderPhantom
God, Dirty Rotten Bastards is the song that I've been waiting for since the release of iUno! This is the shit I like! Green Day at it's best! It must be so damn fun live. At first it seemed like I would be kinda disappointed with the trilogy, but Dirty Rotten Bastards redeemed the entire thing.
