¡TRÉ!

I'm curious which songs are least favorites for you guys from the trilogy. So what's people's Bottom Top3 -list?

Any three from Ashley, Makeout Party, Lady Cobra, Wow! That's Loud, and Baby Eyes. They just sounded like rubbishy filler.

GOOGLE people. It's pretty simple!Argh, I think I'm gonna cave and listen to the leak. You guys are getting me so pumped!!! Especially this post!!!

But I'm at work now and I'm pretty sure they'll kill me if I start downloading music from torrent sites....

Mwahaha, JOIN US!

No seriously, it's so much better than the first two parts of the trilogy. There isn't a song I don't like on it. Everything is an absolute tune.

Looking back now at the whole trilogy, I am pleased as much is I am dissapointed. I remember when they announced the 3 albums and I thought it was something new Green Day music, but now -- just after finished listening to TRÉ -- there's absolutely nothing revolutionary about these 3 albums. It is a old Green Day sound you love to hear. Sure there's something new they try out (Nightlife) and I love a bunch of these new songs. If I should pick 3 fave songs from each album, I'd probably be like this:

UNO

Stay The Night

Kill the DJ

Rusty James

DOS

Lazy Bones

Wild One

Stray Heart

TRÉ

Missing You

8th Ave Serenade

Amanda

Songs I mostly just skip:

Loss of Control

Angel Blue

Little Boy Named Train

Baby Eyes

Sex Drugs and Violence

Stop when the red lights flash

I'm not an audio expert, but I think I can hear some differences in quality. Sound's more cleaner and brighter.
Having just d/l the 320 version, I agree.

the only thing i don't like about this 3 albums is that the sounds sounds like a fake vintage sound - like a song with instagram or something ha.

not diggin' the sound at all, the songs are AMAZING though !

Yeah, pretty much same here partially. And I'm not a big fan of Troublemaker.

where the hell is the intro to AMANDA of the recordings? - man that was weird.

I didn't like it at all, actually :P

The transitions in Dirty Rotten Bastards are nowhere near as fitting as JOS (at least I don't think so after one listen)

Yeah, I've had a feeling it would be since the beginning of all this trilogy stuff. If it's as good as you all say it is, it might slip into my number 2 spot behind American Idiot (it would have to be off-the-planet-orgasmic-amazingness to beat that).

Damn, 5pm can't come soon enough....

I honestly think this trilogy is the best thing to happen to music in the past 2-3 years!

I mean, what other band has come out with 30+ songs in the span of less than 3 months?!

And the more I listen to each of the albums, the more I like all the songs. Initially I hated Troublemaker and Makeout Party, now I love both of them! And some of the songs like Ashley, Loss of Control, Lady Cobra, etc. that some consider filler, I wouldn't dream of skipping over them :D

I'm very impressed with the quality of material contained over these three discs and I think I'm going to be listening to them constantly for the forseeable future :bunny:

I just got done listening to it on my way into class and all I can say is wow...this album is absolutely fantastic. The best of the trilogy if you ask me.

I really hope Green Day gets some sort of award for this entire trilogy. It's truly a masterpiece. Not many bands can write 37 quality songs, spanned across three albums with unique sounds and moods.

I also hope that when Billie Joe is better and back, they play the entire trilogy and have it recorded for a DVD / Blu-ray.

God. I love this band so much and I'm so proud to be a fan.
