I think we will see a new album in something like 3 years. But a single album, not a trilogy again. Still would be fun if they release 5! 6! 7! in ~2015 haha

Usually I don't like songs very much at the first listen, but then I love them. I conversely loved DRB at the first listening, and those are the songs that gonna make me shit bricks.

Its great to hear that people are mostly being really positive about this :) My copy is 59% dowloaded, and it is excruciatingly slow. I seriously can't wait!

All right. Here goes nothing. Hopefully this works for those of you that asked. I've uploaded it to media fire (320kbps)

8th Ave Serenade might be the weakest song on the album for me. It's good, but not as good as other ones.

flop:

sex, drugs and violence

little boy named train

walk away (this one might be a grower though)

the forgotten

My ratings (on the second listen through. May change opinion later through re-listens):

Brutal Love - 8.5/10

Missing You - 8/10

8th Avenue Serenade - 9/10

Drama Queen - 7.5/10

X-Kid - 9.5/10

Sex, Drugs and Violence - 6.5/10

Little Boy Named Train - 7.5/10

Amanda - 8/10

Walk Away - 7.5/10

Dirty Rotten Bastards - 11/10

99 Revolutions - 8.5/10

The Forgotten - 6.5/10

There just seems to be a slight decline in the middle but still a very good album.

Trè hasn´t so much good songs like iUNO! to me, BUT the Songs that are good are a little bit better than the bests on UNO :)

Welp, I just finished Tre. First thoughts: beats Uno and Dos hands down. Not by a country mile, but it displays a much greater level of musical and lyrical maturity. Not all the tracks are mind-blowing, but there are some incredibly good songs on here. Brutal Love is an epic opener to the album while Missing You presents a great follow up. X-Kid is possibly my favourite from the album (and maybe the trilogy), though this title is heavily contended by Dirty Rotten Bastards. This song is just... oh wow. It's like Jesus of Suburbia, squashed slightly and with about 10% less Rock-Opera. The guitar and bass solos are just amazing, and the whole thing is executed really well. Walk Away was a surprise; I liked it quite a bit better than I thought I would, having heard nothing special about it. Out of all the songs, Sex Drugs & Violence and Little Boy Named Train are probably my least favourites - not because they're particularly bad, but because they don't really add as much to the album as the others. Think Angel Blue from Uno. Alright songs, but kinda bland. Anyway, 99 Revolutions is a nice 'climax', though DRB would have served better here, although the guitar mixing throughout this track is a little weak I feel. So yeah. Best album of the Trilogy. Not as good as American Idiot or 21st Century Breakdown, but still an epic conclusion and very worth listening to.

Ratings? Umm...

Brutal Love: 4.5/5

Missing You: 4/5

8th Ave Serenade: 4/5

Drama Queen: 4/5 (Would've been lower, but the ambiguity of the lyrics is both touching and disgusting)

X-Kid: 5/5

Sex, Drugs & Violence: 4/5 or 3.5/5 (Not sure about this one)

Little Boy Named Train: 3.5/5

Amanda: 4/5

Walk Away: 4/5

Dirty Rotten Bastards: 5/5

99 Revolutions: 4/5

The Forgotten: 4.5/5

Calm down  It sounds like it could be on Dos.

I could have said "But... but... you don't like 8th Avenue Serenade... *depressed*", but I love that meme

kinda off topic, but i just found out how to have albums sorted by release year in iPod Touch/iPhone/iPad ...

click on the songs and then on information, then you click on sort ;)

Anyone heard the part before the 2nd chorus of 99 revolutions? I thought someone was playing a christmas song outside because of the tambourine

I didn't say that I don't like it, I do! It's just not my favorites from this album :) While it's still good of course, better than Ashley or Troublemaker for an example.

Can someone help me out with X-Kid? Apparently there was supposed to be mellotron on the track but I can't seem to pick it out.
