Clockwise
Yes he is simply open the book backpage on the bottom Holy shit, the print is so fucking small. Crazy. I think it's cool that they actually gave credit to him though. It's weird though, cuz it makes it sound like him and Billie Joe actually sat down together and wrote the song, which obviously didn't happen, haha. I was listening to some more Sam Cooke recently because of Brutal Love, he was an amazing composer who lost his life way too young. Such a tragedy, a damn shame. blitzkriegdeb
Am I the only one who doesn't think the "old enough to bleed" line is creepy? Like, I can't even see how it can interpreted as creepy at all.

Like, I can't even see how it can interpreted as creepy at all. It's interpreted as creepy cause its about a chick having her period. It means if she's old enough to have a period, she's old enough to bang... So basically, if you think about it, it's creepy... But I don't think about it. I figure it means "if she's an adult, go for it!". Like if you were 25, she was 18, people could be like "Hey she's too young for you", and you could be like "Yeah, go fuck yourself". DannyDirnt
Is anyone else dying to know more about Julianna Homicide? I'm so curious to know what Billie has to say about her! And did you notice that in the booklet it spells it 'Juliana' the first time and 'Julianna' the second time?

I dunno why, but it seems like a cheep production
goosetroop
i seem to be the only one who skips x-kid every time. it's a good song, but i don't know.. it just doesn't grow on me. sex drugs & violence on the other hand. most underrated song on the album I love both songs. Even better its one after the other followed by another good song.

It doesn't have to be anything to do with periods though. A lot of people have suggested the interpretation of "she's old enough to bleed emotionally" which is probably right considering the meaning of the song. I really like your "if she's an adult, go for it!" interpretation though, I hadn't thought of that one before!

bringonjennifury
I noticed in the book that the illustration for Drama Queen includes a picture of a sign saying "No persons under 21 allowed."
DannyDirnt
I don't wanna look like a dirty minded sick dude, but: In Missing You, if you take a look at 'Waking up feeling naked in my clothes inside a room that's vacant' and 'It gets so hard when I'm missing you' the song could get a slight sexual connotation. Mostly the second one because it's like when she's away or something he has his little fantasies? Idk I'm probably just a pervert

But even if he did mean it in the sense of a chick having her period, I still don't see it has creepy. All he does (if we're talking about that song meaning that) is state it, it's not like he says "She's old enough to bleed so now I'm gonna fuck her brains out". I don't know, I still don't understand how it's interpreted as creepy. I'd argue that Fuck Time is eons creepier than that one line, but I digress. I think the "creep" on it is the fact chicks can have their period at like 13 years old, and thats considered dropping the "p" bomb... unspeakable in creepiness... But I still consider it to mean "of age" or "of a close enough age and the dudes about the same and neither give a rats ass"
