¡TRÉ!

Fuck, the bass and guitar solos in Dirty Rotten Bastards are orgasmic. I like how it sounds like it's gonna break out into a proper 80s metal type thing at times in that song but never quite does. So many interesting and weird little elements in there.

Who is Juliana Homicide? What kind of character is she (?) and why this name is mentioned in a part of Dirty Rotten Bastards?

Sounds like a destructive St Jimmy type character to me. That part of the song reminds me of St Jimmy a lot so that's how I'm thinking of it.

How Low is this Brutal Love!

This line is my favourite thing in the whole Trilogy . Sounds so sinister. A glorious end to a perfect song.

SEX DRUGS AND VIOLENCE

ENGLISH MATH AND SCIENCE

Something to remind me of my impending finals. Cool.

I've found two school-related meanings here -- explaining the regression back to his reckless high-school behaviors; and life experience being the best teacher, "teaching me the hardest lessons of my life."

I'll be listening to Tre! on the way to school and hitting my steering wheel like a drum. That's how I listen to Green Day in the car.

Shit, you do that too, eh? Other drivers must think I'm fucking crazy sometimes. :P

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Julianna_Cox. I think Billie is identifying with the character, finding pieces of himself in her and saying "yep, that's me!"

I love the energy, yet emotional lyrics of Little Boy Named Train. The guitar riff is just so EPIC!

I know I've gotten my fair share of strange looks...but if they could hear Dirty Rotten Bastards they would understand.

When I first heard the bass solo in DRB, I was stunned. I WANT TO DO THAT AUGH Michael Ryan who do you do these things to me.

Speaking of driving and Green Day, X-kid really puts me in a mood to get in the car and go on a road trip or just drive for miles and hours on a quest to make something of my life. I love it.

I just came here to express my love for Brutal Love I don't believe there is enough of it. It so beatles-esque im not really a fan of the beatles but i do love most of their music so when Green Day channels The Beatles I'm like

IMO they should do this kind of music more often. it really suits them.

tre is definitely my fav so far of this triology!!!

And drama queen fits iindsay lohan so well

Anyone else loving Walk Away as much as I do?

Definitely, in my opinion Tré is better than Uno, what classifies Uno as the worst one imo.

Agreed, I never really liked Uno to be honest. It's very average to me. Nothing too special.

I feel like I can't really put the three albums in order of how much I like them - its hard! I thought Uno was a great, cohesive-sounding album that was really lighthearted and fun to listen to. Dos had two or three songs I really didn't care for, but other songs on the album were just SO outstanding that it made up for the ones I didn't like. Tre I honestly haven't listened to enough to judge it yet, but so far I love it. I don't know - I feel like I like all the albums for very different reasons.

Me! I love it since my first listen and it's one of my favourites of the trilogy.

Did anyone else find the proper lyrics dissappointingly short? I mean, most lyrics end slightly before the middle of the song and from then on it's just instrumental and repeating lyrics. They are good, but too short to me. Or maybe it's just my impression and they aren't shorter than in other albums.
