porksoda
There's a part towards the middleish of the film where Billie is playing guitar (obviously recording) and you just hear the moot guitar strings and Billie stomping his foot to keep time. I really want to hear that song.

DookieLukie
Such a shame they can't promote more. Missing You and X-Kid could be hits. Same to Stray Heart and Stay the Night.

Heather.
Dirty Rotten Bastards Yeah(x9) Calling all demons, this is the season Next stop is therapy We're the retarded and the broken hearted The season of misery Here's to the wasted, I can almost taste it The rejects, the wastes of times You'll take it further, get away with murder And no one is getting out alive It's a war------ I think the lyric at the end isn't "It's a war" but "Here's to all God's losers nananananana" I really do love DRB in every way, but the lyrics are insanely a re-hash of previous Green Day songs. In a way it feels like a tribute... using the words demons, therapy, retarded, misery, wasted, rejects, "No one is getting out alive".... not that these are uncommon phrases, but they're all just so iconic and pervasive Green Day words that it's simultaneously uncreative but epic because they're all showing up together in an amazing song. BlackBaboon
A little disappointed so far. Missing you is a throwaway song that's already been done at least twice on this trilogy. I haven't heard all of x kid but the two verses I have could have been so much better. Dirty rotten bastards seems fun but I wish they wouldn't release b sides if theyre just going to reuse the melodies later (shoplifter). I was hoping for a lot more from Tre, but I just don't think I'm going to get it.

I was hoping for a lot more from Tre, but I just don't think I'm going to get it. This thought process reminds me of what Mike said in Quatro at one point, "I'm not above going for an easy A"... as in, when you do well in school without having to really work hard. To me that was Mike saying that on whatever song they were working on (which was supposedly Missing You), it wasn't going to be a challenge or innovative learning process, it was going to be tried and true, perhaps already used, talent. The frustrating thing is that getting an easy A, well, it still results in an A... but the more of those you get, the more hollow they become. I'll still be a fan of the song but it might end up feeling like an easy A, which is how most of Uno felt.
Ryder556
I think the lyric at the end isn't "It's a war" but "Here's to all God's losers nananananana" Yeah I hear that now. Also I think he's gonna say "That I--" instead of nanananana. And I couldn't understand what was being said before losers, so I just took what I thought I heard, and cut it out a little short. Take the easy way out. I'll edit those lyrics in.

And btw, DRB is not the same melodie of shoplifter, they have a similar number of syllables in each verse, but they are not the same.
WrongWayToSalvation
Green Day seriously need to change up the guitar sounds, I'm so burnt out on the current one, it's all started melding together now. really? what are the other two songs? And btw, DRB is not the same melodie of shoplifter, they have a similar number of syllables in each verse, but they are not the same. Really? Seriously? The melodies don't sound the same? They just have a similar number of syllables? Wow. Just wow. Denial, denial, DENIAL. Syllables play into melodies... A little disappointed so far. I was hoping for a lot more from Tre, but I just don't think I'm going to get it. You think they've started reusing melodies and stuff a lot now? Oh man, just wait til their next album, at this rate not one song off of that future album will sound original in the context of Green Day's song library. They need to go into some extreme stylistic shift on their next album, otherwise their songs will contine to lose more and more punch and fade into obscurity. chrism17
What did DRB sound like??? Sounds like Dropkick Murphys, like everyone should have a pint of green beer in their hands as they sing along.

The rythm of the vocals sounds the same, but not the melody.

This song is incredible. Finally Billie learned to rhyme
Todd
Gaberilla I'm Alright State Of Shock Soda Pop Curtis listed on that board So since Gabriella is in LBNT's spot, and there's been confusion on wether the live clip is Gabriella or LBNT, can we assume they're the same song? Todd
Anyone do any lyrics yet? If not I will. First. X-Kid. Because it is officially my favourite Green Day song ever. Move over JoS. X-Kid Hey, little kid Did you wake up late one day and You're not so young, but you're still dumb And you're numb to your old glory But now it's gone I fell in love, but it didn't catch your fall Then I crashed, into a wall Then I fell to pieces on the floor Now you're sick to death Bombs away, here goes nothing The shouting's over Hey X-kid, Bombs away Here goes nothing The shouting's over now Over and out again I once, was old enough To know better Than I was too young to care But who cares? I probably would but Hollywood is dead and gone You fell in love But then you just fell apart Like a kick in the head You're an X-Kid and you know the reason Got started again Bombs away Here goes nothing The shouting's over Hey X-kid, Bombs away Here goes nothing The shouting's over now Over and out Over and Over and out Also when Billie says Kick, does anyone hear cake? Dirty Rotten Bastards Yeah(x9) Calling all demons, this is the season Next stop is therapy We're the retarded and the broken hearted The season of misery Here's to the wasted, I can almost taste it The rejects, the wastes of times You'll take it further, get away with murder And no one is getting out alive Here's to all God's losers that I---- Who ever said DRB sounds like Shoplifter you are so right. Definitely a sing along song. Can't help but sing along with it. Missing You Say OOOHhhhhhhhhhhhOOhhhhhhhh Waking up Feeling naked In my clothes inside a room that's vacant Lost my nerve It's unnerving I know there is something I'm forgetting I searched the moon, I lost my head I even looked under the bed I punched the walls, I hit the street I'm pounding the pavement again I'm missing you I'm missing you You're not around and I'm a complete disaster I'm missing you Honestly have no idea what Billie yelled at the beginning, so I just put what he normally yells at concerts. So my current thoughts on Tre!. My fucking favourite Green Day album. Thanks for hiding the lyrics. Can we make sure everyone hides the lyrics? I love to see everyone's thoughts, but I don't want too much spoiling

I guess it is. Also I'll add those lyrics in the post as well. Might as well have everything we know so far. So since Gabriella is in LBNT's spot, and there's been confusion on wether the live clip is Gabriella or LBNT, can we assume they're the same song? LBNT and Gabriella are both in the picture. So I think we can assume that Gabriella was dropped from the albums. Quatro better include some studio B-sides. There's just so many that they can't pass it up. I wanna know which one it is Wow, good ear, that is indeed Little Boy Named Train from that show. As for the credits, they seem to be just for this 1 hour tv special. That segment from the vid you posted wasn't in the special, but it'll most likely be in the full version. Now only Brutal Love and Walk Away have yet to be revealed... Todd
Wow, that's really interesting. Aparently there's also a early tracklist for ¡Uno! in 00:14 With Hello Firecrack It's Gabriella. Same guitar riff, bass and drums as the song where he starts the lyrics with Gabriella. Yeah, but some people think it's LBNT and claim they hear Billie say "little boy named train". I still think they're both Gabriella.
