Sanity Loan
Every time there's a Green Day event that involves a time, you all go absolutely nuts on the whole time zone thing. Everything is always announced as EST so just remember how many hours difference there is because it never changes (with the exception of DST). Or, just do this: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=what+time+is+it+in+new+york / end rant

desertrose
from VH1- summarizing the show . Their numbering system might be slightly off, but bear with us: Before ¡Trés!, the final installment in Green Day‘s ambitious ¡Uno!, ¡Dos!, ¡Trés! trilogy drops on December 15th, comes ¡Quatro!, a documentary about their recording process that premieres tonight on VH1. And before we get ¡Quatro!, we get these sneak peeks. Before embarking on this ambitions run, Green Day returned their act back to the intimate clubs and small venues they technically outgrew decades ago. “Playing clubs is really important to us because it just keeps us energized,” Billie Joe Armstrong explains of the shows that helped them shake of any dust and work out the kinks after so many years of performing together. “We needed to scare the sh*t out of ourselves a little bit.” What resulted is an album that’s the sum of everything Green Day has ever done, but “brand new,” too. “There’s things that this band can do, and that Billie can do as a songwriter, that people still don’t know about. It’s everything thrown in there from the band’s entire career, but it’s brand new,” the band explains. ¡Quatro! will air on VH1 Wednesday, Nov. 28, at midnight ET, and on Palladia Friday, Nov. 30, at 9 p.m ET. There’s more to come — to view the rest of the clips, keep checking greenday.mtv.com. http://www.vh1.com/music/tuner/2012-11-28/green-day-quatro-documentary-sneak-peeks/
