WorryRock02
I would like to remind you the bad review that NME did about DOS, which in short, was not impressed But in my opinion, DOS is a really great album. So 3/4? F*** U. I'll give my personal rate when i'm listening to Tre!
InvaderPhantom
Nooooo I shouldn't have read that review! I totally got spoiled with it mentioning Mike has some lead vocals in Sex Drugs and Violence... I was already sure that Mike or even Tré would have some vocals on the last album, but I wanted it to be a surprise... Mike singing the Modern World segment in American Eulogy totally took me by surprise when I listened to 21stCB for the first time, I wanted to have that on iTré! again. But I actually thought Dirty Rotten Bastards would have been the one with Mike and Tré singing in it.

Kaddi.
Of course we don't know Tre yet, so I can't say whether I agree or not. All I can say is that I completely disagreed with their review for Dos and I kind of hope the same will happen with this review because I really want Tre to be good. Uno was okay, Dos was awful, it's time for a good Green Day album. Oh well, there's one thing I can disagree on already... I absolutely love The Forgotten, it's their best slow song since Good Riddance. Billie's attempt at being John Lennon? Wtf.
WestboundSign!
It's funny how they said iTré! is the "worst" album of the triology since I was pretty sure myself that I'd love it the most. But I can't judge, I haven't listened to it yet.
BrettTheKane
Alt Press has always been slightly-to-totally ignorant towards Green Day. As I can recall, when they initially reviewed 21st Century Breakdown back in 2009, they criticized it for it's "lack of breakdowns". Good lord. Sarahnade
I don't really know that its important how the album does according to reviews. As far as I'm concerned, if I like the album when it comes out, that's all that matters. Regardless, what they've said has actually just made me look forward to this album even more. Harinezumi
I don't think critics are even allowed to like the things that they review. They'd probably be sacked if they did.
WrongWayToSalvation
21st century breakdown had a story... so what makes it so fucking random? Calm down, I meant musically, the only way those 3 albums could possibly be compared. If you have something personal against someone on the internet, then you need to sort out your priorties. Jesus, stop taking things so seriously. I don't think critics are even allowed to like the things that they review. They'd probably be sacked if they did. :lol:/> :lol:/> :lol:/> That makes no sense...their a critic, their job is to critique, which involves critisism. Even the most positive reviews have a list a few negative comments, since nothing is perfect.

Francois
8th Avenue Serenade sounds amazing to me. And not at all like something that would fit on Warning.
w00t932
Can't wait for "Brutal love", I'm extremely interested to hear what a soul Green Day song will sound like. I'm also excited for "Sex,Drugs And Violence"- Mike singing always makes a song awesome, and the little previews of that song are awesome.
pucky
Leaving aside what the reviewer says about the songs, what I fear the most (and what seems to happen with Tré) is the album not being cohesive. It is one of the worst things that can happen to an album. In fact, it is what happens with DOS. It doesn't really feel like an album, but like a bunch of songs put together in one record. For some reasons, I feel UNO is much more cohesive, and even though I can't figure out what aspects make an album cohesive (or not), that feeling of cohesion makes the good songs better and the weak ones, not so bad. By what the reviewer says, it seems that Tré is not going to be as cohesive as I would like to, and I don't like that. In fact, it's not only the review, but we ourselves can tell how "strangely" a couple of songs are listed. 99 Revolutions just before The Forgotten? They are not the kind of songs I would expect to be together in an album. In fact, it is even anticlimatic for both songs. This is just my opinion and my perception of things, but even though I am totally sure I will love each and every song of Tré, I am doubtful about what it will transmit to me as a whole, as an album. I love Drama Queen and The Forgotten and this only is important for me. However, I'm waiting for other reviees being curoius how they will rate Tre. 1039Mike
What were the reviews for the other 2 albums of the trilogy? And 3/5 is not bad, considering this is their 3rd album in 4 months. Some bands get 1/5 for one album.
