Green Day Songs Dookiefied®

Dookiefied

No, I'm pro Nightlife :P

Haha.

I see.

Well, it's just not for me I guess.

But if Dookiefied can redo it and make it something I'm into, then it's a win-win.

Omg I'm mentioned in the video! Although I love the unreleased songs, I think the drums and bass could've been stronger and it should've ended with "come follow me home". :/. It's good nevertheless, maybe you could do Do Da Da next andState of Shock as your next unreleased song!

That's two votes for Do Da Da.

Actually, that's three... but who's counting? :whistle

P.S. Thanks for the shoutout, Dookiefied!

I was thinking about ending it with "come follow me home" but I felt it would be a bit too repetative since it would have been sung two times in a row. Maybe I was wrong tho.

I'd really like to see you do Suffocate too :ahhpy: It's such a good song! I love when it goes 'So when you think you're all alone, no one's left to come around'

Songs like Suffocate and Do Da Da are the ones that I already love so much and they're the reason why I set out to "dookify" the newer songs. Sure I could do these songs and it would be a lot of fun because I love them so much, but there wouldn't be any big difference to the original and the original will always be better of course. At least with 39 Smooth and Kerplunk there's the opportunity to make it sound a little bit more up to date :)

Oh I just LOVE this! I loved Dreamcatcher too. Are you really going to do Nightlife? Can't wait. When are you touring?

...Forgot to say, The Forgotten is my fave so far.

Thanks so much for doing the alternate ending! The other one kinda dropped out, and I didn't expect it to end there, but this one has a gentle ending that's much better. Hopefully Nightlife isn't a nightmare, I can't wait to see how it turns out. I really don't like Nightlife too much, but maybe a nice Do Da Da cover after that will cheer me up ;)

Yeah, y'know I got to give Shenanigans a lusten just yesterday and it's so awesome I can't believe it's not a freaking chart-breaker! I'm happy that its sales have gone up with the release of the pack that lacks only Shenanigans and the trilogy, because I really think it should be more popular. The whole album is amazing. The only song I don't like in Shenanigans is I Want To Be On TV. And Tired Of Waiting For You has become my favorite Green Day cover

I'm starting to grasp this song now I think. I've been working all day on trying to find the right groove/tempo for it. It's supposed to be Dookiefied so I try to make it as different as possible from the original while also trying to stay true to the song. I think drums might be done tomorrow. If you got any suggestions, let's here em now :)

Bass should be easy to hear still! Bass is the main instrument in this song!

Don't want to interrupt the creative process while you're doing Nightlife (can't wait), but here's your next project: King for a Day.

It is in the original. In Dookiefied it's mostly about the guitars lol.
