Acoustified  Very awesome work man. Especially the little acoustic solo in it :D Well and happy Birthday Dookie, even if I was not born when you released

awsome job! loved the solo. :)

Thank you! There's actually a solo in the original version to, but its mixed with the rest of the guitars and quite subtle.

Congratulations that's awesome. I love your voice. I love you missing you acoustic cover. When I cover it I'm either too high or too low... It's incredible how Green Day songs can be hard for me to sing because I'm a girl. I wish I had your voice... Anyway, these are nice covers.Keep doing it.

Thank you for listening and I'm happy you like my voice. Sometimes I hate my voice and sometimes I'm alright with it. I think generally speaking girls tend to have a bit higher pitch and BJA is somewhere in between so I am not surprised that you have a hard time adjusting to the key. Do you play guitar or any other instrument? If you try to find a pitch that suits your voice it would probably sound pretty cool. I'd love to hear it :)

And for some news...I got a couple of covers coming up next week that I'm pretty excited about. One is already done but I need to record some sort of video to it. I'm also working a bit on my originals. Not sure if anyone will be interested in listening but hopefully a few of you :)

yeah, most of the green day songs are in the wrong key for me, too.... i mean i can sing along in the right pitch, but it is just really hard. i usually play it 5 half steps up on the guitar which is just much more natural for my voice.

btt: awesome cover (and hey you can play solos) and i am excited for your next dookified covers now. i still believe the forgotten was your best. it was just made to be dookiefied.

Yeah I sort of had a lucky break with that one gaining thousands of views in my first try. If I hadn't started off with that song I'm not sure I would still be doing this. That song has gained something like 25.000 views in total, twice as much as any of the other videos. :)

I think everyone hate their voice when they listen to it. Yes I play the guitar, the bass and the ukulélé. I change the pitch on 21 guns otherwise I can't sing it entirely. But when I'm changing the pitch I have the feeling I'm betraying the original song... But anyway they changed the pitch on the musical version of 21 guns for the parts sung by the girls. (That's funny how it changes in the middle of the song when Billie sings) so I believe that's ok.

I love your dookiefied versions!!! It actually inspired me and my band to do a more punk version of Good Riddance! not quite dookiefied like you do it, but just faster and heavier, soo thank you for the idea!!!! Keep it up!

Can't wait for the downloads of them!

Don't worry about making changes to the song. Finding your own way is what brings forward new sounds and new original artists. I know what you mean though and I try not to follow the original version blindly, hense the Dookiefied idea. Keep things interesting by adding twists and a personal touch :)

Missing the trilogy songs with Dookiefied guitars :(

You should think about doing Ashley or Stop When The Red Lights Flash, great songs, but they sound so thin!

I've just checked out some more of your stuff and man, you've improved! Your guitar tones are much thicker and emulate more of "Dookie" sound and are played with power and just the right amount or aggression while your bass is thick and prominent in the mix at the same time capturing Mike's groovy basslines and your drums are played with power and speed, much like Tre does. Great job! I don't know if you mix this or someone else does but whoever does, they do it well! It's a perfect balance.
