First impressions are its OK. I thought Uno was OK as well, however having listened to Fuck Time, Makeout Party, Nightlife and Lady Cobra I was very very worried.

Thankfully after first listens to the rest of the songs on the album, I quite like the rest. I'd heard and loved Amy, Stray Heart and Lazy Bones for a while but I actually really like Baby Eyes, Ashley & Wild One as well.

Overall, some good songs, seems very mish-mashed though, and I really really dont like the popular Fuck Time. Wow Thats Loud is my only "new" disappointment.

Is it just me who doesn't get the love for Wild One at all? On my first listen to the album it stood out for me as the worst song, and my opinion hasn't changed that much.

Nope, you're not. I'm not a big fan of the song either although it's slightly growing on me now. I'm not a fan of falsettos tbh but I do like the verses of Wild One.

I guess things have changed in the thread since Dos first leaked, but initially I was seeing mostly just hate for Wild One. So nope you're not alone.

I remember thinking "am I the only one who loves it?"

Not all studio versions sound great at first... whether or not they come across live is an even bigger question. I want to hear live versions of the songs first before I dismiss them altogether... when I heard Wild One live it was instant love from first listen. The studio version kind of lost me a little a bit in the middle part of the chorus when it goes into longer parts but I still think its a half way decent song. Live to me it just sounded epic as fuck.

I loved Wild One from the start. Still do. The falsetto has something ironical...

For me, this is my favorite of the trilogy I think. I'm glad I waited and didn't listen to the live versions :D

But there's something about this album that I instantly picked up.

My band is going to be recording our debut album, and we're a rap rock/experimental/garage/punk oriented band. And the production and sound, vocal tone, all of it is EXACTLY how my band wanted on our production and overall sound. All these tracks are just awesome, I think. Nightlife is catchy, Amy is something I've been wanting to here. Billie's voice got "wider" since that musical :3

Wow I love this album   . I love Uno too and I'm sure I'll love Tre but Dos is my jam! Dirty, dark, dangerous, Foxboro-ish, sexy, beautiful. Totally blows me away. My initial favourites are the gorgeous Wild One and filthy Makeout Party. Couldn't be happier with the studio version of Fuck Time, and with See You Tonight being like an intro it's really the first song on the album - perfect! Love the moaning . And speaking of which, love the way it sounds like moaning but then turns into coughing in Makeout Party lol. Nightlife is fantastic, I already really liked it from the clip but hearing that awesome proper old school hip hop sounding beat at the end makes me like it even more. Green Day mixed with rap done right, a dream come true for me. Wow! That's Loud is psychedelic and fabulous, and Stop When The Red Lights Flash and Lady Cobra make me wanna dance.

Think I've mentioned all my absolute favourites there, but I also love the way the album is bookended by calmer songs, the lovely folky See You Tonight and the beautiful Amy which comes along and brings a dark and sombre edge to the party. And the rest is great too! Not a song I don't love and the production is perfect, you can hear everything so clearly and the guitar in particular sounds amazing. Ten out of ten!

There's something about See You Tonight that I could imagine working well to open a gig with...like the way Song of the Century did. I'm not sure how though..

Dos is currently #72 on iTunes and #13 on Amazon. FYI.

Not bad! On Amazon, it's only behind Susan Boyle, One Direction, and the Rolling Stones greatest hits for its Tuesday release competition.

Nope you're not the only one, that's the song I usually skip its like too slow and drags on I don't get why everyone loves it. It would make a lot more sense if they were in love with Wow! That's Loud. :D

I must be in the small minority of people who actually LIKE Nightlife. And Kill The DJ, for that matter. :S

It's not that, it's the pattern in the background...
