DTH
yeah, maybe i got her wrong there. but then see my comment as a question to all those other posters saying that rap generally is shit. you cant say rock is shit if you only heard bon jovi, nickelback and uno. (ok that was way too mean to uno, i addmit it)
Homero
So i've decided to give into the leak since I waited for Uno and I can just as easily wait for Tre WOW! It's like...they've taken my music taste and smashed it in a blender with Green Day! I love the dark tones, the sleaze, the grit! When Billie described it as "you're at the party" I was a bit skeptical and initially thought "Oh here we go, a 40 year old still wants to party" but to be honest, it completely works! The feeling I get from this album is the feeling of getting asbolutely drunk as hell and NEEDING a girl! This album isn't pretty, it isn't supposed to be "perfect" but fuck me it's fun! oh thank you for putting my feelings about this album in words haha

Dalya
I'm surprised so many people love Ashley so much. To me, it's the only song on this album that could be considered filler. Seriously? I would rather go with Baby Eyes

Homero
The line "she just wants to get me high" makes me think Lady Cobra offered a joint to Billie Joe.
desecrator09
I think this album is definitely their least "pop" album (outside of Nightlife). Even heavier than Insomniac.
pruettcc
So ¡Dos! is fucking awesome, but you already knew that. 1. See You Tonight - Cool Beatles-y intro, with an awesome lead in to Fuck Time. 2. Fuck Time - I didn't like this song at all until I heard the studio version. Now I really like it and its grown to be one of my favorites on here. 3. Stop When the Red Lights Flash - is it simple? Yes. Is it repetitive? Yes. Is it awesome and catchy? Hell yes. 4. Lazy Bones - People went ape shit over the preview of this and I just thought it was meh. Now having heard it in full, I like it a lot better, but it's not one of my favorites on here. 5. Wild One - A great song, but I feel like it doesn't really fit on here. Maybe ¡Tre!? 6. Makeout Party - Funny lyrics and super catchy. Another favorite. 7. Stray Heart - My favorite trilogy single so far (up there with LYG and Kill the DJ) but I almost feel it'd work better on ¡Uno! 8. Ashley - This and Baby Eyes are kind of the filler songs for me. Still kick ass for filler, though. 9. Baby Eyes - I feel the same was about this as I do ashley, but I think I like Baby Eyes better. 10. Lady Cobra - One of my favorites. Love the garagey FBHT style. The band promoted Dos as FBHT2, and I disagree, but this (along with Fuck Time and Makeout Party) do sound pretty Foxboro. 11. Nightlife - I hated this when I heard the preview. Haaaated it. Still not crazy about it (especially the rap part and the effect on Billie's voice), but it's really growing on me. Awesome bass part and overall instrumental. I would do dirty things to that bass line. 12. Wow! That's Loud - Catchy, My Generation-y, and the main riff would be killer with bagpipes. Not a favorite, but not quite filler. 13. Amy - Haunting and beautiful, a fantastic lead in to what will be the hangover that is ¡Tre! Another favorite. Overall, the albums a solid addition to the green day catalogue. Favorites are Fuck Time, SWTRLF, Makeout Party, Stray Heart, Lady Cobra, and Amy. It's a solid 9.5, and may go down to be a favorite Green Day album of mine. Rant over. Bring on ¡Tre!
desecrator09
Is it just me or does it fell like Brain Stew would fit very well on this album? It has that dirty vibe the rest of the songs have.
Awesompawsome
I can't rank the songs so ill review them I guess, see you tonight I like and is like song of the century on steroids and feels really good in context, F**k time is good but I thought it'd be better, but still impressive. Stop when the red lights flash seems like filler to me, it's okay, like the oh love, repetitive and meant to be played live to be impressive. Lazy bones is in my opinion a really strong track, I especially like the guitar sound and how he says shit (idk I just like it). Wild one is better than I expected after listening to the bbc radio 1 snippet and the lyrics are great. Make out party is also better than I expected with its punky feel and guitar solo sick drums and bass showcase. Stray heart has all around great bass, and I like how his voice sounds. Ashley has a great meaning and tempo as well as really good backing vocals. Baby eyes has a live feel to me and feels a lot like a sweet 16 in party mode. Lady cobra feels like raw good worked on punk, it's hard to describe but has a vintage and FBHT feel. Nightlife has a solid solo with great parts with billie and I'm neutral with the rap parts. Wow that's loud I love the solo and solo area but don't like the middle, the ending is good for the last electric song. Amy very simple which I like and is a breath of fresh air from party as well as a sign to come, I like it better than UNO so tres gonna have to impress me, I like AI so it probably will

JAS0N
After two listens, still think Uno is better but it's an album that's easier to love off the bat because its "classic Green Day". I think Dos will grow on me more with each listen but I can't see it topping Uno for my personal taste. Also, I like Nightlife a lot unlike a lot of you. Fuck Time, Stop When The Red Lights Flash and Lazy Bones are current favorites. I do like the dirty sound of the record but I don't hear a single song that I think will be any kind of hit promotion wise except possibly Fuck Time but that would be a tough sell for obvious reasons. Guest
Even heavier than Insomniac. Say what? Look, it's good, and it's heavy at times, but Insomniac remains the most crushingly-heavy GD album made.
