I'm suprised a lot of people don't like "Wild One". It reminds me a lot of "Fell For You", a lot of you guys seem to absolutely love that song.

On another note, there's something about "Makeout Party" that just makes me want to strap on a hollow body with p90s and rock the fuck out. Similar vibes from "Fuck Time" and "Lady Cobra". Great songs.

See? That wasn't so hard!

Youtube links are allowed, as always.

I'll take it that means Dailymotion is also allowed?

Should be in the clear for now, how about any rappers?

Eminem's not having anything planned, 50 Cent is releasing Street King Immortal, but that's not until 2013, Jay-Z and Kanye West are releasing Watch The Throne 2 in 2013, and Kanye West alone released an album last September. Those are the "big 4" - the most popular ones - and so I think this coast is clear too. :D

Just listened to the album. I definitely like Uno better and expect to love Tre way more. I liked Dos, there's not a song that puts me off like Troublemaker did, and there are some definite gems (Stray Heart sounds even more refreshing within the context of the album). That being said, I'm not surprised that this album isn't my favorite. I already knew it wouldn't be. It's impressive, I really admire it as a whole, and I'm glad it exists. But I like Green Day for reasons other than party-garage-rock, and even though I've enjoyed their foray into that style, it's not the Green Day I connect with on an emotional level, even though it's fun to listen to. A lot of people here seem to like FBHT more than they like Green Day itself, and I definitely don't. I like them separate. And so it's not surprising that my favorite songs off of Dos are the ones that are LEAST foxboro-y, like Wild One, Stray Heart, Lazy Bones, Amy, etc. Granted, I think the super party songs are kickass (Makeout Party, Fuck Time, etc.) but they don't really MEAN much to me. And I'm not faulting Green Day, they have a right to make party songs that don't cut quite as deep emotionally, and they're damn good at it. But personally, it's not what fulfills me in a Green Day album, and for that reason Dos will be my least favorite.

I will accept any argument that it's musically more interesting than Uno. That much is probably true. But even so, I prefer power-pop sounds to garage sounds. I'm still very impressed by some of the guitar and bass work on this album though, and definitely need to go back and find that wild solo, I forget which song it was.

Also: fuck guys, that piercing sound at the end of Wow! was really unnecessary.

I won't be surprised if by the end of the trilogy, people are waaaay more disappointed in Uno than they were initially

Currently listening. To be fair, this is the first track yet that I've got the merely 'okay' vibe from as opposed to pretty good. It's not mediocre though.

This gif accurately reflects how Green Day (shown by Gru) feels and his minions (the yellow guys) reflect how us fans will react to a Green Day album with no other big releases clashing with it.

This album makes me so happy that it isn't funny.

And just like that, my ¡Uno! ¡Dos! ¡Tré! playlist is 2/3rds complete. Hearing Oh Love end and See You Tonight begin in order puts an embarrassingly large smile on my face.

¡Uno!: 9/10

¡Dos!: 9.5/10

Ah. You are my opposite.

Checked most of the artists from the Spotify 'Top Lists' just in case. Now I'm 100% sure. And yep, that gif is very accurate. :)

Gaga's is scheduled for spring next year. Thank fuck, if it was here any earlier I'd have a music overload...

This has been my best year for music releases, Eluveitie with Helvetios and The Early Years, Operation Ivy re done vinyls, Parkway Drive with Atlas, Green Day with Uno Dos and Tre, MIW with Infamous, Buried in Verona with Notorious and probably some more musicians I like that I forgot to mention

I appreciate that you've reviewed it, but I always wonder, on reviews like this, where do you come up with such precise numbers? Like, 8/10, fair enough, but 8.4/10? What merits the .4? :P

Why did I ever let you on the internet, Cillian?

And you would obviously know this from your long experience of listening to Nicki Minaj B-Sides?

OOFT dat bass on Stray Heart. That bass and those vocals are what made me fall in love with Mother Mary. Definite sister tracks; the kind of songs that make you fall in love with the idea of falling in love.

A very accurate reflection and comparations with other songs' ratings. :)

Sometimes people just feel like that. I sometimes have that too. In fact, up untill I read your post I thought it was normal with most people. :P

Anybody else think Makeout Party sounds a lot like Loss of Control?

Ah. You are my opposite.

I think my problem is that all the garagey guitar sounds sound exactly the same to me, so all the songs sound too much alike (Lady Cobra, Makeout Party, SWTRLF, Fuck Time if it weren't for the epic vocals). Power chords on Uno are much more obvious to me
