¡DOS! Album

Pretty much agree with this entirely. It's such a good album, but I think UNO is more listenable.

But I'm not sure which I like more, if that makes sense.

Don't worry, it does. :)

See you Tonight = Song of the Century of the triligoy

Well, not as epic as Song of the Century is. But it's ok intro for this record! :)

i'm trying to hold myself down and wait for the release next week, but november 13th seems like 2000 light years away...

so how does this album compare to all of green day's other releases, like in comparison to something like nimrod persay?

Its a kind of a new sound at times, not at as raw as Nimrod, but it does have that powerful production that punches you in the face just like Nimrod.

Stray Heart is Green Day's mustard song - pretty much either loved or hated

This just in Dos is awesome. It makes me want to drink half a bottle of whiskey and fuck anything that moves.

Unfortunately in my case the latter. But I can't love anything they put out. That would be unnatural. :P

Just listened to Wow! That's Loud. I LOVE IT SO MUCH. It reminds me of the Beatles.

I can't wait to get in from my night out tonight so I can listen to the whole album in some drunken, amazed stupor.

I bet "Fuck Time" will be "Funk Time" on the radio :ermm:

am I the only one really enjoying Baby Eyes?

It's probably my favorite song from the album

I am listening to ¡Uno! before I listen to ¡Dos! just to get myself pumped up. An awesome end to the school day.

Stop When The Red Lights Flash, Lazy Bones, Wild One, Baby Eyes, and Amy are my Top 5 songs from the album.

And I also realized that Lazy Bones sounds a lot like Give Me Novacaine, too.

Same chord structures for parts of it.

So what are people's album highlights?

Baby Eyes, Wow! That's Loud and Lazy Bones

And I see that I like Wild One more and more after every play

So what are people's album highlights?

Don't get me wrong, the whole album is great, but these the ones that stuck out to me the most:

Amy

Baby Eyes

Lady Cobra

Lazy Bones

Nightlife

Stop When The Red Lights

Wild One

While a lot of these songs remind me of some of their older styles, I just really appreciate their newer music and some new directions that they took.

Each Green Day album is a mixed bag of great things.
